ASA's are Additional Services Agreements I think, the old 3rd party deals. These now come under the cap as a separate item.

It's realistic, every single player manager will be telling their clients to only sign up until their FA. It doesn't mean he's going to leave at that point it just gives him better leverage to get more money.

The opposite to that is when we front-loaded Frawley's contract which gave us no option to match as we found out it was based on the final year's salary, not the average salary over the length of the contract.

The role he is playing he has to nail those shots. If he can convert his opportunities he could be our Gunston or Breust. If he doesn't then he becomes a liability.

I don't know whether we can/will accommodate all of Brown, Weid and Fritsch. At the moment it looks to me as though one of Jackson or TMac will eventually make way for Brown and Fritsch and Weid are competing for that 3rd tall spot. It all depends on how TMac holds up, how Jackson comes on (and how he goes chopping out Max) and how we go with injuries.

That was Salems most complete game by far. Would be brilliant if he can put together a consistent season at that level, would go close to B&F.

That's the thing that was most pleasing, the effort which showed in the repeat pressure acta and the willingness to run to set up our defensive structures and assist with the quick ball movement. You can lose because of lack of execution but you should never lose because of lack of endeavour. Hopefully this mob will start to see that if they put in the effort game in game out the results will follow.

Can someone tell Petracca to hold the ball still when he's lining up for a set shots instead of twirling it in his hands? I thought he had to do an extra spin in the last quarter when he was lining up which messed up his timing because when he spun it the first few times he ended up with the laces facing in. None of the best shots at goal would ever spin the ball in their hands during their run ups.

If that snap from the pocket had not have hit the post he would have been in contention for goal of the year. Seems to have gone up a gear this year after a few solid preseasons. Loving his game at the moment, multiple efforts and a smart user of the footy.

Salem was immense I thought. Max, Oliver and Petracca dominated the clearance bar one 15 minute stint in the 2nd quarter. I thought their small forwards would wreak havoc but we nullified them almost completely. CARNA DEMONS!!! Bloody good to get another win on the board and especially against another finals aspirant. They definitely had them up around the G last week including at the gates but I didn't notice anyone scanning them. I don't know why people complain about it, if you don't want to do it don't do it. Noone is going to be forcing you to scan it, it would be impossible to police with so many people going through and so many different places to scan. You won't have to scan it as you walk in they will have them spread around the ground so will be easy enough to avoid.
