I thought the were ok, we got a few decisions going our way as well. The two howlers at the end, the free against Lever, the first deliberate and the 50 against Max were all very tough to swallow but crows supporters would have a few they could isolate as bad calls too. My big take away from the umps is they don't like Petracca. It feels like every week he has really bad calls going against him, tonight there were 2 clearly bad calls. He got one back and nailed the goal from 50 but it seems like prior opportunity doesn't exist for him.

Agreed I thought it was a good game too, would have been great to watch as a neutral. Pity we lost though! Agree about the forward pressure as well, ANB, Spargo and Kozzie might be better off with another player helping to pressure and lock the ball in like Sparrow instead of a tall who can't mark like Weid/Briwn.

I agree and it's coincided with us bringing an additional tall into the side (first Brown then Weid). Correlation isn't always causation but it makes you wonder.

I guess it's better than stagnating and regressing isn't it?

I don't know if Brown will come in. I'd rather see Sparrow or Viney come in I think, we were at our best earlier this year with TMac and Jackson forward, an extra tall limits our forward half defensive pressure. Interesting to see how the coaches as much as the players respond to this

Missed Salem big time, needed a cool head to slow things down and no one wanted to take it on themselves to do it Clarry and Petracca were huge just couldn't get us over the line. TMac, Weid, Fritsch all pretty quiet. Move on to the Doggies.

Geez Carlton and Hawthorn are both putrid.

That would go without saying, I'd be stunned if we weren't trying to incorporate something like that into any new facilities Govts aren't willing to just hand money over to pro footy club's but if the money will help build facilities with community benefit (like Richmond's indigenous centre, Saints mental health centre, or AFLW facilities) it's an easier sell to their constituents and the media.
