  1. C'mon mate, you know sides can score 3 goals in 30 seconds these days - well actually maybe that's just us? 😂
  2. Pretty sure they showed this stat at some point during the game (3rd quarter?) At that stage we had scored 9.1.55 from turnover (from memory) and Brisbane were maybe 3 goals?
  3. Hopefully they won't get a say in the near future
  4. Collingwood supporters do it anyway
  5. Ross Lyon or James Hird 😂😂😂
  6. Hasn't happened yet usually in the leadup to the GF. Gorgoroth is a long time member. Just on the 65k members, my two kids and mother in law are members but won't be going. My kids are still young and get freaked out by the big crowds and MIL likely working. I will try and use their tickets to bring along mates/cousins as Demons for the night but depends if they're free. Still think it will be a bumper crowd, Melbourne supporters traditionally come out of the woodwork for finals.

  8. 2nd on the ladder, 16-6, led in 5 of our 6 losses by at least 4 goals and was within a goal in the other with only 10 minutes to play. Really only blown out in one game (Freo at the G) - it has been a remarkable season!
  9. I hear that but channel 7 have never cared about such things in the past.
  10. I reckon it will be over 70k. Swan's have decent support here and there will be plenty of neutrals wanting to go to the Friday night game (particularly MCC and AFL members) who have missed out on finals for the last 2 years.
  11. Genuinely surprised Geelong/Collingwood isn't the Friday night game
  12. 2 weeks to sort yourselves out - no excuses for this one, let's see us pack the G in red and blue and drown out the Sydney blow-ins. We completely outnumbered Geelong and Hawthorn in 2018 I want another see of red and blue and to hear "Mellll-bourne" reverberating around the stadium.
  13. Will they announce finals fixture tonight? Nothing on AFL app
  14. Don't know why it didn't embed in the first post
  15. Wow didn't see this last night as I watch the Fox feed. Spine tingling stuff, almost teared up when they showed Jimmy and then again when they showed the Prelim/GF highlights. https://twitter.com/7AFL/status/1560491545908097024?s=20&t=W4glTXuTfUO9mTcXsjCsEw
  16. Notably one where Petracca gave off to Fritsch going to the right of screen - against Brisbane too! It's all come round full circle.
  17. Found the new cheersquad routine for you @WalkingCivilWar
  18. Pretty unlucky to have multiple players with gastro and Martin hobbled with injury in the Prelim. They would have won in a canter otherwise.
  19. We definitely looked full of running tonight! 3-1 to finish the season, 4-2 going back to the Dogs game and both those games we lost we were within a kick with minutes to go. 16-6 for the season, slightly worse than 17-4-1 last year but we still finish with the double chance, possible top 2 and have given ourselves a real shot at defending our crown. Bring on (late August) September, I can smell finals in the air.
  20. Never in doubt. 😈💙❤️
  21. Yes but even if we don't get the G in week 1 we will in weeks 3 & 4 😉😈
  22. Cohesion is a key ingredient in successful sides. Ben Darwin from Gain Line Analytics goes into in this podcast with Marc McGowan - it's a pity this podcast ceased as there were some great discussions in its brief stint.
