Absolutely spot on, he basically kicks like a girl. He drops the ball with both hands at the same time onto his foot from about half way up his chest (rather than guiding it down towards the end). Since Bruce has gone he is basically the worst kick in our team and it's going to stop him being a very good player IMO. It's a real shame as his body work in a marking contest is good and he seems to have really good strength through his hips/core.

"Brian Lake (WB) Potential new homes: Rich, Haw THE Dogs have told Lake he's a "1000 per cent" required player - and expect him to stay at Whitten Oval to see out the final two years of his contract. But that does not stop clubs from circling in search of an opportunity to snare a two-time All-Australian defender. Rivals would have to dish up something special though - perhaps even two first-round picks - to make the Dogs waiver after such a strong public commitment." What the hell is Mark Stevens smoking? As if any club (with the exception of Carlton) would be stupid enough to offer two first round picks to the dogs for a fat uninterested 29 year old on 600k per year. Absolutely 0% changce of that.

I have an absolutely awesome interwebz link for Friday night games but won't post it here. If you want to PM me I'll send it through but only for requests in the next 30 minutes.

I think he had a 5 year deal at Geelong as well and was very underpaid by the end of it (something for Tom to think about?). Tom must hold off until the end of the season now as his wage and years of contract seem to be growing by the day. By yearsend he'll be playing until he's 40 on a 21 year $30m deal.

My dog just told me Scully was staying.

Very sad to hear this news. My thoughts are with his family and friends in this difficult time. RIP Sean.

Why are we regurgitating yesterday's news re Lynch? He said nothing new and there was no backflip ok? Done and dusted. Now can someone please produce a new BS rumour along the lines of "Scully's best friend's failed business partner's pool cleaner's girlfriend told my sister's hairdresser's dog walker that Scully's grandmother told the local butcher that Scully was either staying or going but can't remember which one it was" so I can waste more of my life reading this thread about 50 times a day? Cheers

Lynch is talking out of his arze; I wouldn't listen to a word he says or gain some sort of comfort from what he said last night. AS IF they would wait until the end of the year to just look at offers - that is just absolute 100% BS if you ask me. You would ALWAYS at least look at offers to see how the market values your client, to suggest otherwise is just complete and utter rubbish to appease the MFC faithful. He is 100% lying in my opinion.

Petterd is strong through the legs and good overhead but his kicking action is seriously flawed. He drops the ball with both hands from half way up his chest. He just has to use the ball better, particularly when kicking for goal.

Into 1.84 now, the punters are on. Let's hope they're right.

Jurrah will be fine, he ain't going back to Casey so just chill out mate. -
If he thinks he'll get any money out of the AFLPA via legal action he is deluded. Nobody in their right mind would believe anything either of them say. Particularly with the watered down burden of proof in any civil case.

We kicked to Howe from kick ins a lot early and he managed to either mark or make a contest. I was very impressed. Perhaps all these injuries have been a long term blessing in disguise for us. We've uncovered a bit of talent in our depth. I'm very happy right now. Had low expectations. Watts' hanger in the last! Ah love beating those $^$ts!

I honestly thin we'll just go through the motions again tonight. Nothing I've seen or heard has inspired me to think any different.

Always a good idea but if I could offer a word of advice......try not to have too many rules and conditions to entry. It just all sounds a bit do this, wear this and do what I sayish at the moment. -
Personally I don't think we're a snowflakes (no pun intended) bloody hope in hell of winning vs St Kilda this week. We are just completely and utterly shizenhouzen at Docklands for whatever $%&%ing reason. We turn up time after time after time with absoutely ZERO intensity, ZERO hard running, ZERO guts, ZERO desire, ZERO heart etc. This just has a classic 10 goal "not even in the game" type hammering feel to it imo. We will play the Saints into form and they will be off to the races, season on again for them. I mark them $1.20 chances. We were so [censored] poor last week that I was reminded about it about two hours ago and now I'm in a VERY grumpy mood. I expect us to find some consistency this week so it's the Saints by 62 points. I really hope to be proven wrong but strongly doubt I will be.

Let's break some losing streaks this year!
Harcourt replied to Geddy Lee's topic in Melbourne Demons
8 consecutive losses to North Melbourne. 9 consecutive losses at Etihad. These two are absolutely disgraceful. We have a chance to knock both off at the weekend. -
I'm going to assume the "Yes" votes are taking the p. Why in God's name would we want him back? To add speed to our already slowish midfield?

What happened to Cam's tracky-dacks?
Harcourt replied to Red and Blue Bloke's topic in Melbourne Demons
Cam is battling in his new surroundings no doubt about that. His disposal by both hand and foot is terrible and his fitness edge seems to have diminished. My Hawthorn friends are not happy with him; when I tell them they got him for free they still think they paid too much for him. Long term it was a good move by the club in letting him go, might have been nice to keep Junior for another year if we knew though.
