Zero umpiring consistency

Stitching them up in every stat. 20 inside 50s to 12. 7 marks inside 50 to 2. More clearances. More contested and uncontested possessions. More tackles. Same score and scoring shots. Our brains farts and skills lead to goal leaking. Every single one of their goals came from dumb turnovers from experienced players.

Better team by far but handed them easy goals. That 50, dropped mark, and free kick to Cameron all easy goals.

Arghh, we give away so many easy goals.

We've struggled against quick teams this year so I can't see how we can counter GWS today. If it were at the MCG I'd actually be confident but if G-Dubya play their cards right they could/should win by 8-10 goals today. Either way, we're going to end up with a pick somewhere in the 4-7 range.

Nonetheless, 18th with nothing to play for but pride and they beat a squad about to play finals footy. When was the last time we actually played *well* in the last round? (Hint: we were also about to play finals)

Brisbane taking it to a top 5 team. Tomorrow we play a bottom 10 team and we'll get smashed.

He wasn't alone in the goal square, though (2:54): Good effort I thought, Turned his body to get away from the opponent and had to over-stretch for the ball. He didn't "drop it" as much as he just couldn't quite reach it as it fell.

We went through 2012 and 2014 with zero goalkickers. We might not have been much better, but it wouldn't have hurt to still have him in the team.

I think North is acting too big for its boots. It's a defeatists approach to finals. They should field their best side this week, play themselves into form, and be prepared to go to Adelaide and try and win a game of footy. Freo is different. North imo is just silly and arrogant, although wouldn't expect any less from a Scott brother.

Well, "tanking" is defined has losing for tangible gain. I don't see how Freo resting players equates to "tanking" because they aren't set to benefit in any way apart from players being rested. I imagine they are still quite capable of winning. $6 for the win is a good bet imo. North, on the other hand...

Well the difference is that with Victory it was a concious decision. In Melbourne's case, I don't think they *choose* to be poor in the first quarter. They're just not a very good team. Boycotting probably wouldn't achieve anything.
