Plenty of raw talent there. It's not 2013 anymore.

Tyson is a star. Some of you have unrealistically high expectations for this group.

Playing the MCG where we have struggled this year maybe Garlett out is a blessing in disguise. Opens the door for Weeds maybe. I like our structure going forward, as it showed against the Eagles we didn't let them flood until the last minutes when it was a given for them to. Believe we can beat them in the middle and our defense has been very solid lately. If we can force Buddy to push up it would be even better. Salem is a huge out though because we lose our loose defender. Not sure who you replace with him because few in the VFL are as level headed and reliable with the ball. We lose a lot of skill with him out. Bigger loss than Garlett imo. Jones and Garlett are both big outs but easily covered because we have players to come directly in at those positions.

JKH and Wagner in? How's Kennedy tracking in VFL?

What was the Melbourne contingency like? Sound louder compared to other interstate games. There was a decent roar when we kicked the winning goal and during the song you could faintly hear the crowd singing it in the back on the broadcast.

Can't understate the quality of the coaching team. No ruck or KPF and we have the best midfield in the league and one of the best forward lines. This shows fantastic adaptability and depth. We definitely have the ability to win more so bevause we have some very smart and cool under pressure heads in the coaching box. I would just love to beat and knock Geelong out of the finals. IMO they are the true gatekeepers. Put GWS on the MCG in front of 80k. I'd love to come up against them in the first week. Imo beyond GWS, there's no clear standout. Even GWS hasn't broken out of their shell yet. Dare I say neither have we. We are still learning. Oliver, Petracca, Hogan and others haven't even played 50 games.

It'll be 60k+. You'll get a lot of random AFL members rocking up imo.

Me too. On mobile.

Imo 94 was the best team we had of all our finals years from 87-2006. All those young ones from the 87 and 88 sides had reached their peak and reached an age where we should have contested for the flag. Unfortunately injuries plagued the likes of Tingay, Charles, Lyon, Jakovich. We lost so much fire power so quickly over the years. It's actually no surprise we bounced back in 1998 bevause we had a fit side for once, although we lost Neitz for 10 weeks with a broken ankle. 1994's team was built for finals and it showed against Carlton and the Bulldogs.

Gonna be more. Just got tickets in AFL Members. Level 1 outside - Allocation exhausted Level 2 - Allocation exhausted Level 2B - Allocation exhausted Level 3 - Allocation exhausted Managed to get 4 tickets level 1 under cover but they are going fast. AFL Members will be full. I suspect they have been snapped up by Swans members. AFL Members tends to be full of international supporters but I've never seen it snapped up so quickly. IMO we're looking at 65k.

Salem out for a month according to SEN Watts for Salem If Garlett doesn't get up, then you'd think Kent, JK or Kennedy come in.

I'm dead.

Overuse in the backline. GET IT OUT!
-
We play bad football coming out of defense. Just go direct. Take the game on. We shot ourselves in the foot with overuse in the defensive area.
-
Eagles are seriously average. We are playing hurt. I can't stand their supporters. We need to win this.
-
Lol Oli cracked it at Gawn. We've been the better team imo.
-
Intense pressure.
-
Stretch and ANB need to convert.
-
Nah. Defending well. Taking our chances. They are rushing it in and our defenders are managing easily.
-
No. I live in Melbourne.

Ports pressure has been amazing in Collingwood's defense. As for Howe, he's a loose defender who has skills. He's also clutch as we saw a few times in Melbourne colours. We've covered his loss well but he still lacks urgency. I'd rather Frost every day of the week.
