  1. LoL... Not really, but I used to find myself following the Lions. ?
  2. just did now. 110%_ It's not any better. I'm have trouble with that fluro orange. Its the contrast, I'm having trouble with the lack of contrast.
  3. Beauty. I reckon you've got plenty in you, Ol'Dee ! Carltons list is clearly better than ours now... just not so much showing on the ladder, Yet We are having a hiccup season... but we've been opened up. rolled open, like a can of sardines... this season. None of our players including 'Oli', are up to last years standard. Oli is wasting his possessions... and so is Brayshaw, disappointing. Tracca is being shown up this season... he was similar last year in An In-Form team. He just doesn't get into enough contests... and does not defend anywhere near well enough, when we haven't got the ball. Gawn is not getting his taps away as accurately this year. But has improved a little around the ground last couple of weeks. Still not influential enough. We are sorely missing TMc's good form thru the Midfield where his Marking, and his run, both ways... is a big help to the flow of the team. Something is wrong with TMc. Did he renew his contract last season? Is it he, getting a huge amount of the cap space ? I don't know... but the team appears out of sorts... as well as out of form ?
  4. I'm Shiel fan and I have been pushing for us to recruit him, since his 2nd year. A freinds son played alongside Dylan at in the U-18's But I don't like paying two top 10 picks for anyone. I think it's risky business indeed, especially now the competition is so Even. Now we have first hand experience with Lever, Re his injury. One career ending injury, and you can fall right off the back of the wave.
  5. If they spread, It might help. Our forwards need also to learn to help one another in packs (1%'s), using their bodies to shield the marker. So many little areas, we have to get more composed and better at.
  6. Its more important (speed/run) now, under 666, than last year, imv.
  7. Thats true, as well, 'Ugtbk'.
  8. I hope everything is alright with you, 'OD'.? you sound so certain.
  9. Why is it, that you imagine that it is a conscious thing ? thinking? and not just a inner comfort. And if it was, it would certainly vary, from person to person.
  10. That must be about, the Melbourne STORM. ?
  11. That orange, is really difficult to read, 'rusty'. maybe too small... text?
  12. 'GRAVITY', is the issue. We're too Heavy, and no, he isn't our brother.
  13. Not really 'OD', One is 19yrs, and the other is 30Yrs. One has already played senior footy in his 1st Yr, and starred. So he is having an OFF year, in his 2nd Yr. The other hasn't shown anything really for since 2017... and still lacked presence. .
  14. I wouldn't give two 1st Rnd picks for Shiel or Treloar either, on today's thinking. I would struggle even with Danger, when he was traded. Cameron maybe... possibly Kely. still think Two 1st Rnd picks is too high. For Lever one 1St Rnd pick, maybe a late 2nd, Or 3rd Rnd pick, should have been enough... or we play hardball other ways to get the player. We are, Too Polite. .
  15. People are not having a go at the club for getting Lever. Only the fact that we payed too highly... we folded, instead of holding our line, of One 1st Rnd Pick, plus something else. Giving up TWO 1st Rnd picks is the problem in that deal. We could have taken a running centreline player, with that pick.
  16. Midfield, and defending. We've never been great at keeping the lid on our opposition club's games. When they lock us down in the big games (finals), we have no tricks left. This is what front running sides lack.
  17. Apart from overpaying for Lever, I don't think we got it wrong.. As of last year, our most pressing position to fill for needs was the Big defender, one who can think, and can kick the ball. I think we got it right apart from maybe some discipline issues, which might need May to rethink... Hawks too Brian Lake in, for similar reasons.I guess we have to take them when they become available Or you run the risk of totally missiong out on what your key needs are. Sometimes Opportunities only knock once. We took the chance and will get a good 3 Yrs from him from this year. Now I think we have our key position places mostly sorted... certainly tall defenders (hopefully Lever comes good), other than recruiting maybe another kid tall defender, to replace May in 3 or 4 Years time. I think we'll need to trade 'in', a key tall forward, to cover TMc and Weide Re injury and form. Preuss is good cover, but mainly for Gawn. He can add as a tall forward sometimes, but I reckon some games will not suit both Gawn and Preuss... especially with a lack of pace around our best 22. So this years trade and draft, I think will be pretty obvious for all AFL watches, to see and know what our needs will be. Quick running centreline types, and a young key tall back. I no longer have confirdence in OMc making the grade.
  18. Who said this...? Have you ever criticized a player, who wears our Red'n'Blue jumper, Nash ? Have you ever been on a players case, who was on our list... and you didn't like that they were. Common now, this is footy, and its always been this way. Do you not think that Daimond Jim Tilbrook copped a lot of flak from Melbournefc fans, Do you think that Fabulous Phil Carmen copped any flak from fans? Do you think that Big Carl copped much flak ? I've heard Melbourne fans rippingg into Rodney Grinter for being too rough. Kelvin Templeton copped flak. It comes with the territory, and especially these days of Pro footy... and that little yellow envelope, they take their Salary home in. Or have today's Footy Players become different mentally... to those of the past, in some way ?.
  19. Last year we broke thru many of our hoodoo's. And we played better at the the Docklands Dome than ever before. But in saying that, we struggled at the 'G', last year. And we came unstuck over in Perth in September. Enter 6'6'6' this season, and we have struggled with the extra space... sine the pre-season games. I think we would always struggle with this, because of our list up to end of 2018. We have recruited some young quicks, from the 2018 draft. But we couldn't go for mature pacy centreline players, because we would have been left with OMc and Frost as our main tall defenders... right up til mid season, when Lever will return. Last year showed us we lacked speed generally, and we lacked a powerful tall back, to quell the big forwards. This team, in its rebuild since Roosy, is still in its infancy, and is still in the same rebuild mode... It's not been completed as Yet. The fact we made finals last season, is a bonus... rather than this year being a failure. .
  20. What is 'It', your referring to ?
  21. So what they have is... plenty of Cap space coming up, to cover their special young players as they start to grow into AFL men. They, are going to catch us, with our shorts at ankle level.
  22. No female urinals, and masseurs, back then... and sports Bras ? ?
