  1. What teams do get to train on their home ground?
  2. some trade radio talk around Josh Bruce and/or Josh Jenkins.
  3. Nuh Uh!
  4. So my take on this is that we have delisted a few peripheral players and are bringing in a best 22-24 player at a Grand final playing club at very low cost. That is surely a trade up on the likes of Maynard et al.
  5. Hmm, not sure that is the case at all LN. It is pretty common knowledge that it is the dislodging players from their incumbant club that is what drives a higher wage. The players by and large appear extremely connected to their existing club hence the need to loosen them with $$s (they are inherently team animals to begin with). Obviously not all players are like that (Jeremy Howe & Dangerfield spring to mind) but most of them like to have a sense of belonging first and foremost
  6. Pretty sure T Mac is on large coin 7-800K
  7. Leg speed....have a listen to Brendan McArtney's interview on SEN. (it is on DL somewwhere) I found it really interesting regarding his insight into how a team can appear to be slow or fast. By way of example he was saying that if the team is losing the contested ball the outside players tend to wait around to assist whereas when the team are playing like we did in 2018 the outsides can leave the contest sooner giving them greater space to work in. I had never thought of it like that before and found it particularly interesting.
  8. I heard announced on SEN Langdon and Tomlinson IN and Frost OUT. Is this not the case?
  9. tayla harris goes second!
  10. The current administration are a joke. McLachlan has been a huge disappointment with his ineptitude being in evidence throughout his entire term. Appointing someone from inside the circus tent was a huge mistake by the league.

  12. "To further enhance his claims, Serong should look to improve his reliability of kick placement and skill execution under pressure." Uh-Oh!
  13. Your legend continues to grow ET!!?
  14. I think he is referring to Brad Scott
  15. The other side of this is if he does not come to us, Coll#$*wod will have to pay him top dollar making their salary cap harder to manage.
  16. makes for a good video grab though

  18. From a pan-list perspective, I thought that with the exception of May, we did not improve our list last year at all and with the players who left - Hogan, Tyson and Kent primarily - we went backwards. I would suggest that Tomlinson is a player with some class that would be welcome on most lists and he will certainly improve ours. With some other smart trades and drafting hopefuly we can regain some of that lost ground
  19. Hope he gets a hair cut, otherwise Jayden will have to share his hairbands
  20. Nicely put Drunkn, I feel like I have been a fly on the wall of an AFL career through your excellent input. All the very best for the future and I hope Dec can re-kindle his love for the game at some point.
  21. Thanks to both of them.
  22. in a year when we have faced up to so much disappointment & negativity, is there a chance we could keep our individual tiffs and tantrums to a minimum. I am sure that it will make DL just a little bit more bearable when all I need is score updates and match day feedback
  23. of course, I survived the Neeld era, I can survive anything
