Why would anyone be surprised by the AFL. A complete joke. Gerard Healey & the media's love for Nik Nat is unjustified and frankly sickening. Dempster, Rioli (avg 9 kicks and 6 HBs), Franklin (ordinary year and averaging 3 goals) should not be in the side on this year's performance. Milne finished 12th on his clubs' B&F - that's what they think of him. Glass as Captain is a joke. Two ruckmen is a joke and I think unprecedented. And whenever we were stiffed for the AA (Yze, Woey, Neitz etc) it was always said that the team rewarded consistent performance over a couple of years. Now there are 15 newly minted AAs - great if this is the new 'policy' but again totally inconsistent. As usual conflicts abound with media and the AFL. Pathetic.

Caddy's stats are really ordinary for a touted mid. Anyone actually seen many of his games?? What makes ppl think he is a 1st round pick aside from the fact he went at pick 7 originally??
-
Thanks for your first post. Very inciteful
-
Really? He's OOC.

Do you two always answer each others posts and reply for one another?? Gee, wouldn't be the same person would it??

BUMP Goldsack would be a great fit for us partic if we lose Rivers. Can play fwd and back is a hard body and goes at it hard. Can see why Neeld would be interested. And wouldn't cost us an arm and a leg. Played a terrific game last night against WCE

Well you certainly couldn't tell from the TV. What is more disturbing is yet again how the AFL have stuffed up the introduction of this. Three flipping umpires were within 3m and watching closely yet the upstairs guy radios the umps after they had cleared it and signalled a goal. Absolute disgrace and to be expected from this bunch of autocratic administrators.

We're good at that. Jolly, Simmonds.... What a joy it will be watching Gawn and Spencer. I hope Gawn has some luck with his body because watching Spenc all year I won't be able to do.

Good for you.

3 Years for Jamar and McKenzie - seriously?
jnrmac replied to Watts Jurrah Dunn?'s topic in Melbourne Demons
Makes me ill thinking about it -
That's not true either. Rivers might insist on a trade so that Melb is not completely dudded.

Herald Sun reports Gysberts to be shown the door...Neeld has gone mad!!!
jnrmac replied to Tex's topic in Melbourne Demons
Gee we signed Col to a 3 yr deal in July. Let's trade him. Sheesh. -
Good grief. Fact?? Well done.

I am with you. Our mids are bog ordinary. Malthouse's first comments were that they need support for Judd. Its no secret that the Pies have an outstanding midfield. Its what we lack. Jesus Christ could play in our fwd line and still only kick 15 goals for the year.
-
Well if we want him I am sure on form Neeld would move heaven and earth to get him.
-
Col played in rd 5 and had 6 tackles,. Not the game of someone who was troubled with a stuffed back. 17 games for the year. Yes he worked his way into some form but for his talent he is a major disappointment,
