Last day of a shiite year. Our annus horribilis. Let's hope nothing else happens and bring on 2013!!!!!! Go Dees

et toi!

Not that anything you say is on topic but really the bold part says it all about you. That would make you an intractable fundamentalist zealot. Really ?? Would you refute it if he said the world was round?
-
Wow - a killer insult. You read Andrew Bolt. Magic stuff.
-
I hope you are right. It could well be a minor thing. They just would have been smarter to sit somewhere not so prominent..
-
I reckon its simple. Someone has spoken to Caro (my bet is one of the disgruntled ex-medical staff from the Richmond game where we had 3 'injured' players) and said 'this is what went on'. Caro has presented this to AA after the McLean 'revelation' and said 'what are you going to do about this' leaving the AFL with no option but to investigate it (as it would appear to be new 'evidence'). The AFL do not want this investigation but have to be seen to be doing something about it. Once our club responds I think the AFL will kill the whole thing. Nothing to see here. Some dodgy comments but no 'hard' evidence. No one will be able to say the AFL weren't thorough or serious.

My post was tongue in cheek really but its fair to say you can't turn on elite behaviours 'at work' and behave like a drongo the minute the school bell has rung and you are home. Elite behaviours include decision making and while I think this episode has been blown out of all proportion by the media that are desperate to have any footy 'story' in the paper there is no doubt the decision making by our boys (and ex-boys) were terrible. And given the history of non-performance, pi$$ poor training loads and quality we, as passionate observers, were hanging on to the fact that finally our players might have worked out that to be successful we have to work harder and smarter than everyone else. While guys like Trengove, Chunk, Grimes, CLark and a few others demonstrate that desire, our little illusion that others under Neeld have bought in might just be a little damaged after this episode. Particularly with Frawley for mine. I criticised Judd heavily for not being a leader when he was handcuffed to a teenage spewing machine (Levi Cassaboult) at an end of year 'celebration'. That's not what a real leader does. Neeld will IMO look very unfavourably on the players that were at the MCG given the publicity it has generated.

Only two days left for our annus horribilis...... Not much can go wrong from here.... surely......

Mark Neeld Aug 22, 2012 The Dees are an "inexperienced group of footballers developing elite habits.” Fail.
-
The guy who took the shots was Sam Stynes brother Wayne Ludbey. Its his job with the HS so not saying he should not have taken them but.....

I hope for their sakes that they are still completing their 2 week break Misson mandated training. Pretty sure yesterday wasn't part of it. I am in two minds about this . They are stupid for putting themselves in that situation but they are still young blokes. I bet none of you have that kind of scrutiny from your workplace when you are on holiday?? There certainly weren't any rocket scientists amongst them. Some posters are saying 'oh its good they have comraderie" but I don't buy that. That kind of comraderie got us 186. Chip is a leader at the club. You think he would have tried to keep a lid on things. Hmmmm.

Frawley, Dunn and Howe asked to leave the MCG according to...... http://www.theaustralian.com.au/news/afl-players-jeremy-howe-and-james-frawley-asked-to-leave-mcg-for-boxing-day-test/story-e6frg6n6-1226543781184 Petterd and Rivers as well I read elsewhere...

Better than this.....

That's about the third time you have made a reference to the munchers. Its become a fixation.

Trying to think through the disgruntled ex-employees who might have an axe to grind and sadly there are quite a few of them but didn't we get rid of our medical staff a couple of years back. ie for the 2010 season?? Form memory they were pretty peeved and some had been serving the club form a good number of years. There was a whisper that the AFL investigators were focusing on the Richmond game when we had 'injured' players and hence a low number of rotations. And that some of the medical staff had been interviewed about anomalies in that game. Anyone remember the names and the circumstances??
-
Great stuff. Many thanks!!! Yep its working!!
-
Hmmm wouldn't it be nice.........
-
Its plausible but I cannot believe for a second he started the investigation without AD's knowledge...
-
He must have found one somewhere......
-
As gratifying as that might be it is much harder than you would anticipate. As well you would find that a court imposed 'discovery' process is much more vigorous than the AFL one. For a start there is a heavy legal obligation on respondents to speak the truth which is far more onerous than AFL sanctioned 'international policemen'!! Best to keep schtum and take revenge at a later date, I have no doubt there will be plenty of opportunities...

Thanks guys will try to refresh things..

Sorry in advance for posting this here... I posted this on the forum help page and haven't had a response... Since the new look skin for the website I have had a lot of trouble posting. Particularly with links, and edit options like bold, which I cannot access because they are 'greyed out' I assume that others haven't had this with a pc otherwise it would be all over the forums. Not even sure this is the right place to post this but wondering if I am doing something wrong or if it is likely to be anongoing issue? Often when I post I will get all of the syntax letters and symbols coming up on screen (ie /QUOTE, img], etc) rather than than an image or a bold etc. Anyone else had this problem??? Or know how to fic it?? Many thanks Junior Mac
