  3. Terlich finished 3rd in the Bluey behind Nathan Jones and Colin Garland.
  4. When we wallop Freo it may cause him to rethink any ideas about going there.....
  5. How ridiculous that a willing employee and willing employer cant agree their own terms without the overreach of the union dominated FWC
  6. The great moralisers of Demonland are out in force I see.
  7. Tracc playing according to Max on the news tonight I think we need at least one full hit out with a strong side before the real stuff starts.
  8. Windsor is underdone. Don't want the situation we had last year with Bowey in Rd 1
  9. The commentary was great. Informative, measured no histriinics
  10. I hope he makes it but I've seen nothing to hang My hat on. Not writing him off but gee he's gotta show something
  11. When it was decided to introduce GWS and GC, 62% of the advertising revenue came from NSW and Southern Queensland. NRL viewership dwarfed AFL in the top 20 watched games (excluding one offs like the Olympics) most years. They accounted for something like 18 out of the 20 most watched sporting events. Hence the decision was made to expand the AFL. It was all about money, ad revenue and broadcasting rights. And increasing the number of games on TV. NRL has a low attendance numbers but huge TV audience. And of course gambling. That's the key to it all.
  12. Very interesting comment. Lever does get a free pass. Its almost as if they're a package, May and Lever. Theres a lot to be said for close communication and familiarity and system but he had some stinkers last year.
  13. Get a room...
  14. The front page of the Melbourne website has all of the details . There's a story in the News section Its been up there since Feb 7 2025
  15. eventually. For a long time they thought they could rehab it. He underwent surgery in July 2024
  16. Spargo not ready in all likelihood I'd suggest Laurie may get a run.
  17. Good cos they sure as hell don't have enough draft capital for Kozzie and JUH
  18. Projecting much? But seeing as you has raised this the number of players to hit 200 games drafted at 28 or worse is high.
  19. You remind me of someone who used to post on this site..... Hmmmm
  20. I have Laurie down as the smokie that will surprise many this year. Uses the ball well, has some evasive skills and is getting more comfortable at this level. It's been a long time coming but its now or never for him.
  21. Put a fork in them. Carr will take over by round 10
  22. Why wait for free agency? If we identify a need we chase the player. Every other club seems to be happy targeting in contract players.
  23. HAWTHORN are an interesting case in point. They have traded in 2 key defenders. One fairly average and one good IMO but it was a clear need. They got Battle who was a free agent for not much but paid handsomely for Barass - The Hawks gave up their 2025 first-, second- and third-round selections to West Coast in order to secure Tom Barrass, while receiving a fourth-round pick in return. We'll watch 2025 with interest. They aren't the quality we got in Lever and May but I doubt anyone argues against our trade that netted us a flag.
