When you ask Google ai Yes, you can nominate for a father-son spot a second time if you don't get picked up, but you will need to renominate for the current year's draft because AFL Draft nominations are valid for only one year. If you are not selected by the club in the first year you nominate, you have the option to re-enter the draft process in the following year by renominating.

I think you're correct - if he nominates again hes eligible. Would only be ineligible if listed lo any other AFL club - which he hasnt

Wonderful news. The new option being sprouted for the guineas carpark directly opposite the train station will be fantastic for fan access - retail/social/dining hub immediately comes to mind there.

I guess it means that the club can get better trade value as he is now contracted and the player also has some collateral as a contract means he gets paid his value if a trade falls through - can't get shafted as a last minute minimum value contract.

He had a year out from the ACL, obviously hadn't regained his pace easiest delist for any list manager. Don't know anyone who doesn't take a season to regain speed, spring and form until a year or so after ther return from the year off. It takes time, something of a massive commodity in list terms - unless you are an absolute gun time isn't on your side. Hes not the first to be strung out after an injury, and definitely won't be the last. Fortunately he was able to have some redevelopment time and then get onto our list. You never know what a full preseason will do for him - we might have something here
