well i can guarantee that you wont hear that. its the player number first, followed by the player's name, followed by the player's club. :D

yeh well if we got Naitanui then we wouldnt be picking up Roughead at pick 19 so if thats the case, i would like Naitanui

of course clubs pick up on positional requirements. clubs say that they dont pick on needs, but they all do. how would burgan know? that's his job and he has been pretty spot on in other years.

roughead is the most highly fancied ruckman outside naitanui, mckernan isnt a genuine ruckman..so yeh i think its a certainty. Burgan also said that melbourne will be picking up a ruckman with either pick 17 or 19..so yeh...we may not pick up lynch at 17 but we sure as hell will pick up roughead at pick 19 regardless

guys, jordan roughead is a sure thing to be a demon. i had him listed as pick 19 in my draft selections and now burgan has backed me up. while i dont want him, i'm resigned to the fact that we have no ruckmen and roughead will be picked up on a needs basis, its a complete waste of a draft pick considering he is just a standard ruckman but what can you do.

that makes no sense. sidebottom is worth a pick 17 so it isnt good or bad that he played that great game. he played that great game because he is a good player

i thikn you're right in that he needs to drop a few kilograms..but i think its mainly so that he doesnt put extra stress on his legs, groins etc from all the upper body weight. I dont think Moloney would be much slower(if at all) than say a jimmy bartel

fair enough yeh. but i think dunn is playing seriously out of position. he should be playing as that 3rd tall in the forward line. he'd kick us 35 plus a year..which is good. Newton i just think needs to be given more time...play him every game and see what happens then. i just think that every time he comes back into the side he would feel like he has to showboat and play well just to remain in the team...i dont think that pressure would help his game.

i just hope that we dont pick up roughead with our pick 17 or 19. he is a standard ruckman.

i'll never understand why Dunn is not rated by our supporters. he is tall, a good tackler, a good kick and a good mark. i actually think that he is a big part of our future. And i think Newton will be as well.

first of all, yay 1000 well-educated posts. i disagree about mckernan. he is a great KP player and i dont know what reports you have been getting goose. i do agree about deboer though, his disposals are pathetic and if we pick him up it will just be another wasted pick. Walters is highly fancied to go to West Coast at 18 or 20 which would obviously make him a top 20 pick.

i think we are a big chance of picking up nick suban. i dont know why but i just have a feeling as he is victorian and he is rated around the 15-25 range and has good foot skills. he must be in out sights.
