Jurrah's My man, Will be a superstar! Drop Miller he's Useless. Correct, he has very little footy brain, though he seemed as a decent "Plug" player, he has disappointed me and 30,000 demon fans. Bring Jurrah in and let the excitement start, he'd provide more of a contest then Miller. Hughes is stiff not to be selected yet, but shouldn't be far from a call up. These two with Watts, Woona, could throw Newton (he's a mixed bag of lollies) and I'd like to seen Green up forward. Miller = Trade Bait. And Go Dees

When I first saw this topic I thought, Moloney! He has this Neita feel about him. Red and Blue, through and through. I'd be wrapped to see him lead us to our next premiership. I'd like to see Davey as Vice Capt. Other prospects for future, future prospecs Watts, Morton and Grimes we hear has exceptional leadership skills. Our future is bright!

Great Post DD. Bailey will be around for a long time, i have talked to him several times and i get this feel about him as a coach, I'm sure all coaches have belief in their players i just get a different feel from him when his discussing his players. People look at too many things in a negative view. Could Bailey be thinking of the word "Consistant"? Or are they similar in their meanings? I think what he's trying to get at is; If we are"Competitive" for longer it will lead to us being"Consistant". For too many qtrs we are not "Competitive" enough. If we can lift our "Consistancy" of playing 4 qtrs of good football, it will make us more competitive.....(I'm Confused)... I'm all for Competitive!

I think he will play on the wing more as a development role probably rotating somewhere in the forward line until his physique can handle a full time role in the forward line, could be 2 years though it will only make him more of a complete player. He may also play 2-3rd forward, as a team it is goals we need. It will be interesting......

I attended training this morning - a beautiful day. It was interesting that neither Brent Moloney nor Colin Silvia were at training. The group looked good. Brock Mclean looked to still be recovering; Aaron Davey hasn't looked like he lost any pace. I'm excited about Neville Jetta. His speed and skills were outstanding. If Cale Morton has put on any weight it must be on his small toe! Though it doesnt worry me, if he has another season like 08' I'd be happy. I will post photos tonight!

I'll take photos for ya's and i'll wear my melbournefc top proud! My partner finds it weird though i'm proud to be a demon!

Dapa Dan, couldn't agree with you more! All players (Watts Included) should be given until the 23yr old bracket to "prove" themselves. DB and Co would probably be thinking the same. We all know how quickly a defense can change without a backup option. I believe Frawls will make it. Any reason why he couldn't play small? Maybe not a Rioli type forward but maybe a Murphy or Steve Johnson.

He also has "hands on" experience on what NOT to do. Very valuable.

Can i just say i believe some are being a little harsh towards Benny. Should he not be given another chance? I dont think he would have a "negative" impact on our up and coming players, quite the opposite. Our players are young and would look up to Benny for the "player" he is. Bennys on field qualities are what MFC need. I'm sure if we gave him a chance he'd repay us! he know success! Something we haven't tasted in some time. And as both MFC and Ben Cousins have hit rock bottom, why not rise together? A chance i'm sure they will take.

Just wondering what others think about melbournefc.com.au, compared to other clubs? I found ours to be boring and plain. The AFL don't run it do they?
