Picking him up in the mid-season draft and then cutting him not 4 months later just would not make sense, especially for a big bloke in a position we are desperate to fill. I’m not a Laurie fan, but he needs to be given a good run of games in the AFL to see if he will make it instead of dropping him after 1 game, playing him in the VFL for another 3 before getting a call up, only to be dropped again. Thats on Goodwin and his inability to properly develop players.

Unless drastic changes are made, 2025 will be more of the same I fear.
