  1. That and imagine what North might be like in 5 years if they can develop a back line
  2. We need new mids and forwards coaches. Rawlings has been our defensive coach for eons, but that’s our least concern atm.
  3. It’s absolute bs is what it is. And yet the AFL will protect these incompetent fools who don’t deserve to be umpiring u8’s on Sunday mornings. There’s no such thing as accountability in the AFL and it’s why the competition has become so farcical.
  4. love how the “highlight” shows a massive push in the back with the ump only 10m away and does nothing about it. Another case of Laura Kane coming out and saying “the wrong decision was made” and simply moving on to next week without batting an eyelid. This game has seriously gone to [censored].
  5. And it’s why we’ll never be a ‘big’ club. Too many supporters aren’t tragics whose weekly highlight revolves around attending a footy game.
  6. I will admit, since tasting the ultimate success in 2021, my hunger for AFL has seriously diminished. Grass roots football is where my passions lie. AFL doesn’t even come close to it.
  7. Was there, but 5 minutes into the last I was not overly happy that we let the Giants simply waltz it out of the middle and put 4 quick ones through, only for to us ever so slowly grind our way back into it. Good thing not too many were around me, i cant imagine me and my mate would’ve been great listening to, as we were going off at the umps and I was lambasting how I choose my priorities going through the “same [censored] different week”. Goody a few years back said that hopefully our game style would be one that the fans would recognise and get behind. Well we recognise it alright, and going by the numbers tonight…………well let’s just say that there is a lot to be desired. People vote with their feet, and I dare say Goody wouldn’t like hearing what the majority would seemingly have to say of where we as a club have gotten to under his tenure since 2021. 3 years is a long time in footy………..and the next 3 will be even longer if change does not occur.
  8. Yeah coz that turned out aces the last time we went down that route
  9. First 7 minutes of the last in which we conceded 4 goals. Don’t know what was said at 3/4 time, but we sure as hell weren’t switched on. We score way too slowly at the business end of games, and concede far too easily when we lapse in concentration. Sure we can ramble on about the umpires, but what’s the point? So long as they make games contentious, AFL remains in the headlines. Too many games being influenced by umpiring decisions to be more than a coincidence, and with Dillon saying that umpiring is the best it ever has been, that ain’t changing any time soon.
  10. Writing is on the wall there. Our supporters don’t believe any more. Can you blame them though?
  11. Bang bang bang would be handy
  12. Convenient isn’t it 🤬
  13. They haven’t exactly been great tonight, but agree, many on here look to blame everyone else before looking at players and coaches.
  14. And this is why we need a new coach. Goody has no answers when we don’t have momentum. We get scored against way too easily. More likely it’s the players that simply lose the plot, but that also means he no longer has the player’s. If he did, they’d put up more of a fight than simply wilting. They might talk about loving Goody, but actions speak louder than words. They don’t play for him anymore.
  15. This is all too predictable
  16. Time to the finger out Kozzie
  17. Arm wrestles haven’t been our forte for a while, we try and shut it down. How about we go on the aggressive.
  18. Heart & Soul JV7
  19. Need to wrestle back momentum desperately.
  20. Well it certainly ain’t a northerly
  21. Yes times 1000. A forward line with presence creates fear and doubt (perceived or otherwise) in defences, creating opportunities that wouldn’t be there if your forward line is not feared.
  22. The hair with the golf visor 🤩
  23. Give me players with awesome disposal over jets that butcher it every day of the week.
  24. The umps do………and it ain’t gonna happen
  25. The way the AFL continually screws over grass-roots footy, it’s not the least bit surprising. Nothing against Katy Perry, but her prime audience (at a guess) would be pre-teen girls. Don’t think that quite aligns with those that will be attending this years GF.
