  1. Yeah I’d only do that trade if Georgiades came with him too.
  2. Love that he goes out as a one-club player. Love even more that he keeps to himself and doesn’t voice his opinion on any little matter (cough***** Dangerfield ******* cough)
  3. No no no no no. The top 8 should stay the way it is. With a 19th team coming soon enough, it makes qualifying for finals all the more of an achievement, as opposed to half the teams making them. Finals should be for good teams playing in good matches, not ones just making up the numbers.
  4. The only reason possibly as to why the Bont might ‘underperform’ in finals might just be because his body can’t go a 7th month of carrying his team on his shoulders. The fact he doesn’t have a Brownlow and Neale has 2 just shows how poor a medal it is as to judging the B&F in the AFL.
  5. We need to offer Darren Burgess a blank cheque to come back to us next year.
  6. Concerning for the Swans.
  7. Better judgement than Kane Kornes or Sam Maclure 😁 2 picks in the mid teens would be as far as I’m willing to go. Definitely not a top 10 pick though. Houston, whilst a very good player, will be 28 come the start of next year. Id rather get a quality youngster with his whole career ahead of him, than a desperate attempt ala Richmond 2022, to trade out quality picks only for it to backfire.
  8. When was the last time a team got done by 100 points during the season, then went on to win the flag?
  9. Anything above 70k given how far we’ve fallen away this year would be a bonus
  10. Sounds like we’re desperate to pump up member numbers
  11. We were surprisingly accurate
  12. Was thinking Rawlings, but picturing Chaplin. But you get my drift.
  13. Take the top 10 pick to the draft
  14. That and imagine what North might be like in 5 years if they can develop a back line
  15. We need new mids and forwards coaches. Rawlings has been our defensive coach for eons, but that’s our least concern atm.
  16. It’s absolute bs is what it is. And yet the AFL will protect these incompetent fools who don’t deserve to be umpiring u8’s on Sunday mornings. There’s no such thing as accountability in the AFL and it’s why the competition has become so farcical.
  17. love how the “highlight” shows a massive push in the back with the ump only 10m away and does nothing about it. Another case of Laura Kane coming out and saying “the wrong decision was made” and simply moving on to next week without batting an eyelid. This game has seriously gone to [censored].
  18. And it’s why we’ll never be a ‘big’ club. Too many supporters aren’t tragics whose weekly highlight revolves around attending a footy game.
  19. I will admit, since tasting the ultimate success in 2021, my hunger for AFL has seriously diminished. Grass roots football is where my passions lie. AFL doesn’t even come close to it.
  20. Was there, but 5 minutes into the last I was not overly happy that we let the Giants simply waltz it out of the middle and put 4 quick ones through, only for to us ever so slowly grind our way back into it. Good thing not too many were around me, i cant imagine me and my mate would’ve been great listening to, as we were going off at the umps and I was lambasting how I choose my priorities going through the “same [censored] different week”. Goody a few years back said that hopefully our game style would be one that the fans would recognise and get behind. Well we recognise it alright, and going by the numbers tonight

well let’s just say that there is a lot to be desired. People vote with their feet, and I dare say Goody wouldn’t like hearing what the majority would seemingly have to say of where we as a club have gotten to under his tenure since 2021. 3 years is a long time in footy

..and the next 3 will be even longer if change does not occur.
  21. Yeah coz that turned out aces the last time we went down that route
  22. First 7 minutes of the last in which we conceded 4 goals. Don’t know what was said at 3/4 time, but we sure as hell weren’t switched on. We score way too slowly at the business end of games, and concede far too easily when we lapse in concentration. Sure we can ramble on about the umpires, but what’s the point? So long as they make games contentious, AFL remains in the headlines. Too many games being influenced by umpiring decisions to be more than a coincidence, and with Dillon saying that umpiring is the best it ever has been, that ain’t changing any time soon.
  23. Writing is on the wall there. Our supporters don’t believe any more. Can you blame them though?
  24. Bang bang bang would be handy
