  1. I assure you he is going to the pies. Make of that what you will.
  2. Pies have been all the rage and were firm favourites at the close of betting. Expect channel 9 to get the scoop.
  3. Kevin just informed me a decsion has been made and will be announced tomorrow.
  4. I spoke to Glen who was going to gtake a bet on it. I'll phone again and put my coin on the woods.
  5. I just contacted sportsbet on the number provided and they are still taking money on Judd.
  6. Umm this hasn't been confirmed and is subject to a court order. I'd edit out the name if I were you.
  7. Frawley didn't show much? I must have been watching another Frawley play in red and blue. Frawley is the key defender who can run out of defence we have been looking for over the past decade. This guy is going to be something and you can already tell he will not have any problems bulking up. If there is an area where can least afford to trade it is key position big men as we simply don't have any quality proven KPP at this stage.
  8. To be perfect honest, Paul Roo's would be choking on his weeties at the suggestion that they will part with there first round pick for the most inconsistant, soft and lazy outsider in the game. It doesn't stand to reason that the club that prides itself on 1 on 1 footy and putting the team ahead of yourself would be interested in TJ. Won't happen, then again we did get Pick 15 for Darren "I wanna be number 1 ruckman" Jolly.

All the information points to Collingwood if you ask me. He wanted the best facilities, the best footy department and a chance of winning a flag, now as much as we dislike Collingwood, with Judd entered into the side which lost to the cats by 5 points.... things could have been very different.
  10. I was in M13 as well...... Row S and it was bloody loud, especially when we started storming back.
  11. No problem "Champ" but you make such sweeping statements that hold absolutely no water. Instead of " Not good for a bunch of Melbourne listed players not to make the best", name them and how often they have been outside of the best. I think you also need to assess who actually chooses the "Best" players, several times last year a Melbourne listed player would absolutely dominate a game, yet be overlooked for a Sandy youngster. Don't take it all on face value, Champ.
  12. You have conveniently omitted the fact that Daniel Bell has been slaughtered by injury since his arrival at the club. No in fairness or not to Rhino he needs to do a little more research before making such ill informed statements.
  13. I tend to agree with Rhino on this one. Moloney has missed far to much football to be continually rested. With the end of the season closing in though, it probably would be best to put him out to pasture for a bit. His first season with us was a very consistant one. His run from half back and entry into the forward line seems to have been forgotten, sure some of his kicks tend to come down with ice on them but generally his disposal was pretty good in that first year, he also had a bit of pace which he seems to be struggling with now under the OP.
  14. So a player fails to catch the attention of the official that picks the best players.... all of a sudden that isn't a good sign? 1 bad game? You're very ordinary indeed, Champ.
  15. You obviously havn't watch 2007 very closely.... injury aside Daniel Bell has been the one constant in our defensive half. He wouldn't have played a disappointing match from a personal perspective. Think before you type, Champ.
  16. I have been saying for last 2 years that our skill level is absolutely shocking. Brad Green last year was as poor as anybody. Now you have guys like Bruce absolutely shanking it, I can't remember Bruce being "This" bad. It is so frustrating that when a player is in space he cannot spot up a leading target over 35 metres away. Imagine being a forward in our line up, talk about being made work for every opportunity. It is something that seriously needs to be worked on before season 2008, I don't think my heart could take anymore pathetic skill shortages for another season!
  17. Pull your heads out of your assholes, Voss punched him and it was a poor punch at that.
  18. So did Newton for the last 2 years.
  19. I was at the same game and if you honestly think that was a good representation of our great game then your kidding yourself. Tassie are an undersized, under skilled rabble. Colin Garland was "okay" he played across half back but as Zebraman mentioned, it was a little difficult to figure out where players were playing because there was generally no conventional set up. He does have sure hands and pretty good skills but he needs further time to develop before being even considered for KP roles. With a new coach and our season over I would expect he'll get a few more games before year's end. Mark Jamar looks good at VFL level and I fear he'll be the new Ezra Poyas, virtually did what he wanted, was a danger whenever he went forward and if he could translate that to the top level he'd make a handy second ruckman. Brent Moloney did look underdone but he was far too strong, however his mobility did look restricted as to what I have witnessed in the past and I think he needs to be put on ice to get right for 2008. Ben Holland, as mentioned took a lot of marks, however a player of his experience and quality should do that to a seriously undermanned and undersized opponent. He is remarkably big, I'd never seen him that close up. Jace Bode is an interesting one; didn't get a lot of the footy but seems to be pretty smart. As a rookie I doubt he'll be retained but there is "something" there... not sure what... but something. Shane Neaves should be promoted and given an opportunity to see what he has got. Looks the goods at VFL level and I actually rate his work higher than Jamar given the experience difference between the two. Byron Who? Disappointing and still looks out of condition. Byron is in a lot of trouble and I fear his AFL career is over. Warnock had his hands full all night with Derbyshire and if the Tassie delivery had been any good in the first half Derbyshire would have kicked 7 or 8. What needs to be remembered is the fact that most of the players for Tassie come from a third tier competition, Tasmania has no state league and players are drawn from 2 separate regions. It is absolutely ridiculous. One week players are playing on guys who are stepping up from country football to playing against sides with quality AFL players. Hence the game was not impressive as a spectacle. I won't harp on about the state of football in this state but it is worth remembering this was the Devils' 11th loss in a row and whilst they had a crack it wasn't a good spectacle against an utterly depleted Sandringham. Just as a side note, Melbourne should take a look at a guy called Sam Whish Wilson who played with the Devils last night. Boy is he impressive, I actually rate him higher than Grant Birchall. He is the most improved player in Tasmania.
  20. I've been saying it most of this season, he needs to be given an extended period at CHB, if he bulks up a bit, I really see him as a Chad Cornes rebounding defender capable of playing on the Tredrea's, Halls and Franklins.
  21. Gary Yablitt is by far and away without doubt, no ifs buts maybes or whatevers the finest player EVER. EVER.
  22. Not a great game to watch to be perfectly honest. There were no real "stand out" players and even though Garland made the best, he was far from impressive. Very disappointing as a spectacle and the only real highlight is actually watching Adam Derbyshire in the flesh, [censored] this guy can play, has been kicking alot of goals recently in a [censored] team with disgraceful delivery. Even the beer was [censored].
  23. Control F - Find Chuck Norris - Change text to Brock McLean takes about 5 seconds!
  24. The White influence departed when the Sam Newman rule came in and denied Jeff a fair crack at the centre contest... restraint of trade?
