Hammer Comes Down at the Crows After External Review
Good to see youâve returned to your comfy old position of waiting for the sky to fall Clint. I was a bit worried last year that you might have accidentally seen the ray of sunshine peeking out from the clouds. â¤ď¸

Hammer Comes Down at the Crows After External Review
Far out. What a time to be laying off key staff - in the middle of the trade period where thereâs a player exodus and while trying to employ a senior coach. Their board probably had no choice though once the report findings were in. Definitely sucks to be them at the moment.

Farewell Sam Frost
With only one buyer and an apparent driver to move him on, I think we were in a position where we had to take what we could get. Probably lucky we had a pragmatic trading partner and not someone like Bellend or Dododo.

If the future second rounder goes to Freo for Langdon itâs impossible to see how this isnât a great result.

Sam Murray
Why not just trade him for pick 100 if thatâs the case? It costs nothing, eliminates the very tiny chance he goes elsewhere, and puts some certainty in the situation for all concerned. I think the only way to interpret silence is that it means the deal is not yet done.

WELCOME TO DEMONLAND - ED LANGDON
Amazing that thereâs even any question if pick 22 is âfairâ. Established AFL quality in exchange for a lottery ticket. Itâs the noest of brainers ever for me. At least weâve learned from the Melksham and Hibberd trades and arenât screaming âovers!!!â

For a nice touch of irony, locker #6 is vacant ?

Far out. Whereâs admin when you need them?

He is hopeless, glad we didnât get him.
Listed his nickname as âBreddieâ. Personally I think he was one that got away.

Iâve got to admit I donât completely hate the idea. We played most of this season without a key forward, although it was due to Weideman and McDonald both being writeoffs. Heâs limited for sure and capable of being completely hopeless, but he can take a grab and could be cheap insurance. If he ended up playing the whole season at Casey then so be it. Could pretty easily be talked out if it though.

Oh man. I feel like Iâm reliving the Demonland glory days. It was beautiful how passionate people got about recruiting players that ultimately never even got close to making it.

I know Iâm a broken record on this, but it still always surprises me when people care about how much players are paid. When a) we have no idea how weâre positioned salary cap wise and b) we can only ever guess how much theyâre actually paid anyway, it makes the whole conversation meaningless.

Farewell Sam Frost
For a club that has been very strong, Hawthorn definitely have a weird history of taking on Melbourne NQRs in this century. Paul Johnson is another and they nearly gave us Brad Sewell for Ryan Ferguson. Their interest in Frost is probably a good sign!

How many years? You donât need a lot of exposure to toxic personalities in the home environment for it to have a very detrimental effect.

Why does everyone want to palm their garbage off to Tasmania? What have we done to deserve that?

Finals Week 2
Fair enough. Probably just means I should go back to my usual MO of ignoring the umpiring.

I only saw Q2 and Q3 of last nightâs match, but from what I saw it was also #freekickgws

Finals Week 2
Other than you saying the E swear word in a sentence with Bulldogs and Lions, I agree. I really hoped Brisbane would give it a shake, but oh well. Itâs physically impossible for me to go for Geelong and Collingwood, and going for GWS feels too empty, so I suppose Richmond it is.
