I hope a few here listened closely to Fyfe's acceptance speech where he thanked supporters and noted strongly how important it is for players to receive positive support as motivation, help at times when things weren't going that well. They really appreciate it. Imagine what it would be like for our players if all our 52,000 supporters relentlessly bagged the players 20 times a day, every week of the year, like some do here on Demonland. There's a difference between constructive and relentlessly aggressive negative criticism. Everyone knows the club didn't perform well this year, and it was a huge disappointment from 2018, but Fremantle didn't exactly set the world on fire either. I can't see how relentless negativity helps make average players better, and good players great. It would be like playing under a dark cloud every time you stepped over the white line.

I was by no means happy with the team's output this season, but I'll be blowed if I'm going to extend the complaining to Jack Viney eating an ice cream on holiday, or thinking that denying them a break would help And if I need to feel depressed I can just come on here and read more than 36,000 of your posts, 99.9% of which are negative. You should take a break for your own well-being. Constant and relentless negativity isn't good for you or anyone else. If you feel the need to come on here and make 20 posts a day that are complaining and carping about this football club, you should also question the influence supporters like you are having on how the Melbourne Football Club is regarded and the reason it might be considered "irrelevant". Well it's a silly opinion. Measuring who gets a holiday by how hard you perceive someone has worked throughout the year and merits time off. You'd be a hit on the coaching panel.

Those blocks to the east on Whitmuir Road have two, two and three townhouses on each blocvk. If you couldn't fit at least 40 townhouses on the entire Bentleigh Club land there's something wrong.

Here's the Bentleigh Club. Equivalent to 18 normal suburban houseblocks in a residential area. A developer would jump at the chance to demolish and build 50 or more townhouses, provided planning permission is given.
