PRESEASON TRAINING: Wednesday 29th January 2025
On Luker, I think it's incumbent on a club to at least provide a basic report in the case of a player who hasn't been at training for long periods of time. Particularly to ensure there's no idle speculation going on.

Casey Demons - offseason 2024/5
I reckon that Tommo will win the B & F at North's VFL side even if he plays full back.

The top-ten highest paid players for 2024
Quite frankly, on a per game basis (16 Brownlow votes), Tracc provided fantastic value for the club in 2024 - matched only by Patrick Cripps.

Yeah - reckon the camera was a shade better than the one on my iPhone.

Wade Derksen
His CV sounds a bit like Fullarton last year. How did that go?

Let me guess. The HUN ran a poll and Bomber fans unanimously agreed their club was đ©.
-
Essendon in disarray - culture questioned
Except the conspiracy to hide the cultural issues at the club that have been allowed to fester in the background. The Bombers have a history of sweeping their problems under the carpet. Just look at the peptides scandal where they went off site to inject their players with substances supplied by suspect characters.

Former MFC President Joe Gutnick calls to make club-shaking moves
Based on what we've seen today, that's not a lot.

Kate Roffey Steps Down
Do you have a link to those âcommunicated strategic plansâ?

Kate Roffey Steps Down
You quoted my post which was a response to BDA who claimed that Roffey didnât deliver and therefore was a failure. BDA claimed that my response was gaslighting and you supported that as understanding some supportersâ frustrations. In the context of what I wrote, you were implicitly supporting that claim.

Kate Roffey Steps Down
As far back as I can remember the issue of a social club/home base has been constantly promised by club boards and administrations for fifty years, not just ten. But if we must, then why not call every one of them in that time frame failures including the previous two presidents as well as Peter Jackson and Gary Pert, the CEOs in that time frame. Roffey became President in 2021, the club won an AFL Premiership that year and an AFLW Premiership the following year. Yet, she leaves as a failure in the eyes of frustrated supporters because we have a planning system in this state that is infamous for red tape and delays. Sheesh.

Mac Andrew
Sorry but, even if it's true, saying that some of his best footy is right up there with Daicos is meaningless unless he's capable of producing the same level week in week out. If he does, he will have a huge impact on the Suns results in the future but if he remains as inconsistent as he has been to date, he's not in Daicos' league and not a million dollar player.

Mac Andrew
Sorry Iâm a bit late to the party here but I was at PFS on Saturday afternoon to watch the Demons vs Suns and it was the first time that Andrew and JVR played on the same ground in an AFL game. I get it that form varies from game to game and Andrew has a big night the week before but I came away happy. Happy for us that we got a player who will be one of our greats in the forward line for hopefully, many years to come. Iâm also happy for the Suns that they have a different type of Cat who I think will play some good football for them although he might never justify being picked in his draft year immediately after Nick Daicos.

This weekâs match preview - the people speak
The Tribunal decision on Kossy Pickett will play a part in how the game unfolds. I remember how he destroyed Brisbane one night a couple of years ago.

Jay Lockhart is still with Southport. He snagged a couple for them in their win over Port Melbourne yesterday.

2023 NATIONAL DRAFT ORDER AND SELECTIONS
That looks like happening because Essendon have decided to open their war chest and spend it on a longish contract starting at $800-$850k per annum. And their fans wonder why they havenât won a finals game for almost a couple of decades.

CASEY:Â EF vs Footscray
FWIW, this was the rule that applied in 2019:- âIn order to be eligible, each player must have played at least one AFL, VFL or Development game in 2019. If they have played an AFL home and away match after the 1st of July, they must have played at least six VFL games during the season to remain eligible.â
