  1. Haven’t heard much lately about what the leftover players are doing while the team’s playing. Is it all too hard with the compacted fixture?
  2. No VFLW or Under 18s by the look.
  3. Eleven in a row - something we can only dream of today.
  4. I predict that there will be 11 different players in our 22 this week.
  5. I suppose it’s a good time to bring this up.
  6. Kevin, is this you?
  7. 6. Max Gawn 5. Jack Viney 4. Christian Petracca 3. Clayton Oliver 2. Steven May 1. Ed Langdon
  8. Those were the days when we could go to Kardinia Park and win.
  9. Could someone look to see if they can find Tom Scully in Blacktown? Wasn’t he last seen looking the place over?
  10. It’s not just us who have long periods without scoring. Collingwood kicked 3 goals to nothing in the first five minutes and one more point to half time. Essendon are five goals straight. Demonland would be in meltdown if that was us.
  11. Actually, the day ended well for us. The way things were going, I thought the AFL was going to force us to forfeit last Sunday’s game and lose a shyzenload worth of percentage.
  12. If that’s the case then why not play the reduced squad from Essendon v Melbourne on Wednesday night this week and move the Round 4 games involving Essendon and Melbourne to Tuesday night next week.
  13. With Aaron Nietschke‘s season ending injury before Xmas and some doubts on whether Harley Bennell can come up to the mark, are there any prospective players out there worth looking at for the SSP?
  14. I was pretty much convinced about Young from the day I saw him playing for the Aussie squad v Casey on television early this year. Thought him on a par with Noah Anderson and not that far behind Rowell. On that basis, it’s pretty much a no brainer that we take him with pick three. Splitting the pick shouldn’t come into consideration unless something out of the square or absolutely spectacular is presented to us.
  15. Does this mean that we would be more or less likely to split pick 3?
  16. They say you shouldn’t change a winning combination but I think that the selectors will have to be innovative for the Saints game. We are under pressure to keep winning because of our poor start and we can’t take the Saints for granted but we also have a 5 day turnaround to the next game on Anzac Eve. Expect some interesting selection moves.
  17. That makes seven players out from their last meeting in mid-2018.
  18. Smith Fritsch Petty Sparrow
  19. Is there any official word on the Petracca knee injury?
  20. Somewhere among that lot are quite a few players who will be Demons this time next week.
  21. No. That won’t get it done.
  22. WTF - on the Fox Footy Channel, Leigh Montagna just said Lachie Neale was worth 2 first round draft picks but a minute earlier, he said Jesse Hogan was worth one. Is he for real?
  23. Gaff to stay with Eagles Thankful that we showed no interest whatsoever in Gaff ... erm ... er
  24. What guarantee is there that if May stays until next year that he will be worth Band 1 compensation? He could lose form or get injured and he'll be a year older meaning a year less to offer other clubs. If the Suns are offered a top 10 pick in what is generally considered the best draft of the best decade against something that might happen in the future, they will look at it seriously.
