I have been getting zero fun or enjoyment watching us. When it's patently obvious to those that see ( not just look ) what is wrong and yet all we get is spin ( a lot of bloody spin !! ) and repeat with only the settings on the machine changing a bit now and then but the results are damn near the same. Where are these positives ?? The most damning fact of this Club is that more often than not it isn't even the opposition that beats us.. We manage that quite nicely all by ourselves by kicking us out of wins !! How bloody clever are we ?? Btw... it's not up to me to provide these positives. There are folk paid, and paid extremely handsomely to do that. Not thinking it's much bang for buck atm.

I have absolutely nothing against Simon. I think he and Ooze did a wonderful job 👏 🏆 I think he's an intelligent kind of bloke with well meaning intentions. I simply think he has run his race. Does he possibly know this 🤔 🤷‍♂️ If he reads the room correctly and indeed sees a bigger picture he might garner even greater respect by bowing out on his terms. He could do well to negotiate a deal to leave. Everyone's a winner and we move on. Or .. ??

It's a little Schroedinger and at same time not. Does that make it Schroedinger-Schroedinger ?? Changing coaches guarantees nothing other than different. Goody goes, Someone comes ... what changes ?? Well that's the $64 question though probability and logic suggests it won't be the same. Better ?? Who the ..... knows. Ideally you have ( that is club has ) chosen someone displaying a new direction. Or... do nothing...get nowhere. Nowhere ?? Well the same b.s. has been rolled out year after year. The Age 01/04/2029 Latest word emanating from the MFC suggests planning is well advanced pending Council approval. The City of Monash, despite some reports of protests from some councilors,has announced work is progressing on plans to reinvent the old Clayton Tip into a state of the art sporting facility. The football club acknowledges past disappointments and false starts but insists the new location is perfect suited to the club's needs. A spokesman for the club insists all rumours to the contrary are pure rubbish. We're tipping this will be their new home.

I hover somewhere around this. The list is not brilliant. It's serviceable with a few glaring deficiencies. Barring injuries it can be competitive. Hell we should have won KB in spite of ourselves but managed to trot out our old nemesis.... " the inability to really score well and consistently " This then brings us around to our coaching and development. I'm with you Sir...get a broom....a big one and push it through the F.D. .. if a few nqrs off the list get caught up in bristles.... so be it.

Something that irks me and is seldom quantified or acknowledged is the waste of a year of the players. Some haven't much more of their careers left. Others are developing ( or poignantly are not ) . What value, what $ does anyone ascribe to this. It's not just the cost of a payout as you rightly suggest. It's to be weighed against a whole basket of values.

Yes good teams use pressure.. it's A tool . It's about our ONLY tool. And therein lies the problem. I often wonder WHAT is actually coached at Melbourne
