The AFL wont need any more logic thrown at them as to why we ought to get a PP. its got nothing to do with logic, or deserving one etc. Its all political now. They will do so if it suits them not us.

I did pose the question purposefully...i.e not as a comment as per the latter. Its not 100 clear cut is it and I'll defer ( as if a choice lol ) to the FD etc I dont want us becoming some sort of 'golden' ticket but there will be cases ( players ) that totally deserve to be viewed on their merits. Actually as an aside how ( as such ) is /are these treated in the cap. If a club looks to spend x amount or indeed the whole shebang of the cap I presume the club would suppose the full amount of entitlements are inclusive to the player payments. . If these criteria arent met then tpp simply fall a tad lower ?

Agree. Some may not wish nor even like to put values on players but its as much a part of the composite as any other issue. Like it or not money plays a very large part in this game and whether its dream team or reality ...players have a worth whether that be perceived m market or just plain wish ful thinking
