My thinking regards this WJ goes to the notion that that the Shield Protection is their to protect the identity of a source of information. i.e WHat was said or inferred is known ( and used by journo ) but the mouth's identity is kept hidden. Here we have the Weapon calling some to task. Its being asked what was said between two parties ( etc ) whereby the persons involved are actually already known. In an instance say Hird and Slobbo. No protection of identity involved so surely on a stand under oath Slobbo ought to directed to answer whatever questions ?

I think if its done by a better think tank then definitely yes. Conversely , what esle is there to do A) do little B) do next to little C) go half hearted D) attempt a mini rebuild and hope all others come good. The reality is there are very few on our list who are really up to it, or indeed up for it. The list has to change or everything stays the same....all but.

Not too many years ago we overhauled our list by 14.. I think with a little effort and conscientious endeavour we can do this , at least , again. Thats approx 25% of the list... It'll do as a starter. What one can , indeed do is only limited by intent.

Surely this is a contradiction in terms. Part of being talented ought to be to be able to make the right decisions during a game. It is part of the game itself, to know what do do and when. Most of ours is just rabble currently
