No love ?? Thought it might be of interest.. A tagger , who can run , who can KICK I do like players that can kick and hit up leads. ah well..again....just a though

looks like Tappy and JKH are out JKH, Tappy unlikely to be availablecant help thinking we've already seen the last outing of Tappy in the red and Blue

Then you cant really kick Nut !! AFL players seem to fall into two main groups...Those that CAN during a game, and those that butcher.. Occasionally a good kick will shank but thats an aberration not the norm. Seldom ( but no impossible ) does an average ( to krap ) kick flook a pearler It only matters what you can do on game day. Back in the dark ages it was easy enough to see who could really kick. If you could spiral a Torp or slam a stab pass onto ( into ) someones chest ...YOU COULD KICK. Punting was invariably used when all else fails. A drop punt became the get out of jail for those that couldnt time a drop kick Yes I know its all moved on , and in the main for the better, but those kicking skills , or lack thereof were easy to gauge, and sometimes correct. You would be dropped for dribbling a ball !! I still reckon a Torp is a valuable kick as anyone who can, can get 10-15 m more out of it. That and its a thing of beauty to watch Anyhow back to the topic whatever it was lol

you know I reckon if you can kick , you can kick, if you cant, you cant

But...but...the OFF season is our best bit !!!! Never lose a game, all prospects are guns, the sun shines, most Demonlanders get on. Beats the H/A by a mile
-
I think we'll see a fair shake of offers like this next season. The Duke are working with the club to build this type of thing up. Decent place, good food, nicely tucked away upstairs, easy to get to etc etc ( I'll have a free beer thanks Duke !! lol )

Raines and Lions to part company Raines isnt an earth shatteringly brilliant player. But he'd probably eclipse a fair few of ours. He'd have a few seasons left and hes fairly consistent. If gotten cheaply he might be another Dads Army type to bolster and guide the kids in the middle? just thinking out loud really thought s ??

we need players that can kick. It would be a start

they look to us for inspiration

He's mates with Jason Mahoney I think !

But Sue, EFC live by their code of duplicity... They are their own parallel Universe -
anything around 600 x 4 years will in all likelihood secure band 1...all else is just overs and up to the buyer really

Would have loved to have gone, previous Night with Roos was excellent also. You're just left with the feeling that this plainly ISNT how Roos and the FD want the list to be . ist year a bit of a honeymoon/evaluation . This EOS to see the real Roos and Co influence come to bear. Ive come to learn you need to develop an understanding of Roos speak. Sometimes its the half finished sentences, sometimes its a form of substitution where he inserts a vanilla generalisation in place of what I can only guess is his real thinking but considers the venue and audience not for such confidences. Theres a game of join the dots though, he's candid and evasive ...all in one breath !! lol

good

They're pretty desperate for taller timber. Their list is pretty shot as well but the engine room is better than ours ( currently )
-
nor I....but shhhh!! lets pump him up !!!
-
certainly higher than the Cats deal ( well the info I was given anyways )
-
pretty much watt we do i suspect
-
Yep thanks Pit. The food is quite good there isnt it Roos explains the logic of why its dangerous to rely tooo much on the draft and why he prefers to look at watching, evaluating and securing players AFTER they've entered the system. The TAC is a sanitised version of the game. Caveat emptor

certainly had a lot of recruiters with it
