Well then Im kidding myself. Frawley only managed 8th at the Bluey. Clark cant make it past a white line ( very often-historically ) One is actually totally irrelevant to our playing ability and the other's work rate is lacklustre at best ( more often than not ) and thinks grass is green elsewhere. So who really cares The problem would be for mine if we did , as a club , actually think these guys WERE important to our future. Theyre not. Hogan is, Viney is , Tyson is, Bernie is, Chunk- very much so, Dunn has stepped up and wants to be a big part of it, A person like Daniel Cross is infinitely more important than either of Chip or Mitch for us going forward and thats even acknowledging he has probably on 2 years in him left. Jetta and T Mac are more important as they actually WANT to play 110% and do it for the Dees. Frawley and Clark remind me of the so called value a celebrity has...its all show, more often a facade hiding a vacuum The sooner we do actually stop thinking the likes of Frawley and Clark are pivotal to any success the sooner we will actually achieve some.

bingo...give the man a cigar !!!

My take. He wants out. Go. Where..don't care Want club to extract best return on what is essentially another clubs gamble Caveat Emptor really as history suggests we'll win out of this in the end. Simply put behind us the fiasco that has been the Mitch Clark experiment/ experience and welcome to the club whoever...and we move on and up. Im somewhat excited and curious to how our list will look after trade and draft. A whole lot less NQRs im guessing and MC has been the epitome of such. Go Dees

well he wont want to go to Collingwood then will he !!

Thats not unusual !!

Sorry , had to chuckle slightly. Everyones worrying about this or that. The actual Trade Week hasnt started yet. Anything and everything to date is just like the start of old Americas Cup races with yachts jockeying for a starting position, trying to out fox the other. when the week proper starts and certainly as the end games start to appear then clubs will take to their powder, until then its a game, within a game. Popcorn anyone

More power to you Jack all the best for 15 and beyond

takes some repeating doesn't it !!

This bloke (PJ) managed a profit. No mean feat. Im thinking (now ) That Roos Taylor Viney might be able to conjure up more than a rabbit. But you dont do that by telling all how you'll do it

I am going to suggest in this new era of "MFC has some bloody idea of what it's doing" that the club will be very , VERY circumspect on what it says ( does ) in regard to players leaving and Clark in particular. it may well harbour opinions and indeed know much but until said person(s) are out the door and contracts signed with replacements then it serves the club no particular service to let anyone know more than they need. We have a couple of Poker Masters at the Helm now. The River is dealt in Trade week and thats when we'll see them in their element. From holding water like a colander we're a tight lot now. Will be interesting. These guys are shrewd

my guess is because we are letting him !!

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - HERITIER LUMUMBA
beelzebub replied to Moonshadow's topic in Melbourne Demons
A lot will simply come down to who can deal best with the filth. What sort of trade/pick currency would Scott be prepared to ante up? I think Harry would get on with Roos. It might carry some weight. -
Hell its hard to gauge what Roos says half the time even when hes NOT trying to be overly evasive. When he is he just runs interviewers in circles...lol Hes not giving anything away , either on the couch or at the trade table. Some serious horse haggling coming up Viney Taylor and Co have been sharpening knives for a while now. The moment will be upon them soon enough. it wont be like any of the players wont see this coming ( not now ) as they will all have been apprised of how things 'really' are. I sense we may be a little and somewhat pleasantly surprised at the list come the end of the silly season's antics. Flotsam and Jetsam will have been flung back from whence they came.
-
Interesting . Could be anything, but definitely interesting take on it. Im sure a lot has been going on in the back room of the war dept. Im also sure more than a handful might want to not spend up big on their annual holiday !!
-
we're getting better at the drafting
-
Red you'd have to think there were some distinctly frank discussions at some latter point especially when it started to unfold ( npi ) that Mitch was 'playing loose ' with his condition as it now presents. I see PJ as ver practical. He would have thought as indeed will Roos and Viney that we werent going to make this horse drink so whats the best plan B. Plan be says keep your powder dry, for the moment, and we are.

its not about what was...but about what is

Lucky for any kid with a Dees jumper with #11 on it.... in so much as a great man once wore it and a kid ought be proud of that , and to wear it. MC will be dead to this club He will join the likes of that other one and shan't be mentioned

This would be imho our best outcome. The filth are haemoraging and might get a bit silly ( one hopes)

Bombers scandal: charged, <redacted> and <infracted>
beelzebub replied to Jonesbag's topic in Melbourne Demons
As I understand it an appeal wouldnt be about the evidence but the way the judgement came to be. Correct RED ??As such Middleton has it all wrapped up nicely with bows !!!! These Lawyers are giving Sharks a bad name !!!!
