ALL of our mids don't need to be and never will be stars. They need to be a hard working solid provider within the mids-group If he fell through to the Rookie list I'd snaffle him .

This is actually what concerns me most in respect to a likely outcome resulting in a recovery and strengthened foot sufficient for AFL footy; it is that even with the best looking after and management its just seems one of those types of niggle that persists.

Don't suppose Brendan let slip the names of any of his likely new charges ??

I seriously rate landing Macca as something of a coup. he would have been feted by quite a few discerning clubs. He came to us People are starting to come to us as we know.......'If we build it....."

Pretty amazing when you consider it wasn't that much longer than a year ago we as a club were so far in the poo it wasn't funny. We've now assembled Roos as head Coach, mentor to his successor , and acknowledged hanger-er-on-erer sts after. . We have the probable successor, Goodwin, a respected coach in his own right and also , not unknown to him , an able assistant and widely regarded guru of development in Macca. We're often told you need your off-field right before anything of substance happens on field. Well i think we are well on our way. Christ i wish we could nail Jacko to his seat..alas ... We've been castigated ( and more than likely rightly so ) for our ineptitude in picking the right ones and then being able to develop them after. I don't recall a time when I've felt so confident we will start getting it all right. I've been like many others in the past and wrung hands when considering who we'l get at the draft and trade. I'm not concerned at all presently. I think who ever we get will add to the equation. Not all ever work out as hoped bu the failures will be the lesser number in future I suspect , not the successes as in the past. Welcome aboard Macca ....weave that magic of yours !!!

Interesting ; we all pretty much agree the age ought to be lifted. Slight variances as to quite how much and how to manage their transition from TAC kiddie ball to something looking a bit more like the 'real " game but all in all consensus Don't fret RPFC some bloke called Andersen has despatched a Tailor to make you suitable apparel for that new Throne of yours I wonder what it will take for the League to see sense on all of this. Is this something that needs to be driven by the coaches association ?. They after all are the ones lumped with the lads, often before they ought to be.

I don't mind the sentiment but i'm cautioned towards the idea o anyone locked in. we might have a few lined up and them voicing at least the idea is plausible but as nothing can be signed id remain wary until it was. Appreciate where you're going though as its been certainly suggested we're targeting a couple of likely lads !!

Fisher had a reasonable career just not at the highest level. Valentis isnt too shabby but again couldnt quite cement himself at AFL level. So whats your point Boob?? really what is it. Mine was all things equal pick ones who have footy nouse ahead of those who claim is athletic proess. So I wait yours.

First and Foremost a footballer should be engraved on Recruitment. A lot of things can be developed bettered and improved but if your head isnt about footy it never will be. It a ridiculously simple concept ignored by so many.
