  1. For the moment id be happy to usurp Goodwin.... and hand to Choco in the interim. After that... .. some very interesting choices
  2. Disagree.. watch May... when he spoils ..he launches through the pack ... fist out. If you know what you're about you can lift a knee without subverting your eyes. Im just very suspect.. Im not inclined to give many players any benefit of doubt...especially Filth.
  3. Among other things ...possibly. Causes not necessarily mutually exclusive. It could be list and direction ( coaching )
  4. Ive been pondering this... So i watched the replay about a dozen times. My thoughts.. Backs CAN mark.. ( May etc ) but Moore wasn't positioned or trying to mark. He was trying to spoil imo.. You dont normally "knee up" to spoil... to mark maybe/yes. So he spolied...and kneed..... hmmmm
  5. Got to agree with Jaded Gawndy. Its only a vibe, an opinion but the likes of Gus'n'Gawny etc.. Brayshaw epitomised the soul of a die hard Demon. He left nothing out there...and so many do. He waa as much the jovial lad as the committed player. Who will EVER forget the lunging mark in that Granny ? He inspired those around him. That resonance is missing now.
  6. Recommend anyone šŸ¤”šŸ¤”šŸ¤”šŸ¤·

Lets be fair...McDonalds can't do a lot of things properly ( but their Cappos are ok ) That demented woman obviously should never have been allowed that milkshake if all she was to do with it was waste it... quelle horreur
  8. Im not sure what anyone else thought ... but immediately after Trac was kneed....after he got up 'sucking' and hobbled off ....i said to the good wife... "gotta have done ribs"..." i also added derisively.." thanks Moore".. wife being of the filth variety arced up...."you cant blame him".. me... "of course i can...he laid his knee hard into him....wasnt 'accidental' " And thats why i thought it was ribs.. Didnt occur to me about Lung nor Spleen. Did it to others ?? šŸ¤” Again , you really wonder what the assessment entailed. How long before Scanners at every AFL game ? Hopefully soon. Hopefully Trac back in 25 after a full recovery
  9. This highlights the error in its essence. The club is charged with overseeing the health of the players. The AFL is responsible essentially for providing as safe a working environment as can. The Player does not get to call the shots. So how did he ? Or did the club effectively abdicate responsibility til its hand was forced subsequently ? The assessment and decision making processes seem to leave much to be desired.
  10. We play like like a bunch of Olafs
  11. This needs to be said again and again.. The PLAYERS aren't the overiding problem. The list is either decried as "talented" .. capable etc etc. For mine overall its inflated and overated but there is genuine talent, ability and potential. The analogy to me is Chess. Those pieces only do the bidding of the person playing. The counterpart in football are the coaches. The problems wont be fixed unless some major changes are made as logically, don't make those changes and the ONLY outcome has to be pretty much more of same/similar. We need DIFFERENT.
  12. Excellent post... considered and balanced. The question within the question in my view goes to motive . A vexed one without doubt but not all actions are simply "part of the technique" Gus says hello and thanks
  13. Well you may well be right....but i'm guessing we'll get to have more games to judge upon ... ;) cupboard is bare.
  14. Excuse me... duty of care.... due dilligence...quality of medical advice ?? But stay fat with the club... Did you really read what you wrote... You don't put anyone at risk. It's just footy Obviously the decision was wrong. Hindsight is wonderful yes... but why was he allowed back beggars serious scrutiny.
  15. @speed demon Thanks for cutting through the spin. So many questions are raised by this but the important thing is the lad gets the best treatment and a full recovery. Footy concerns are a far off concern.
  16. I'd counter that players don't come to clubs for the fans. They come for opportunity, for money etc etc. It's all down to the playing group and coaching. Whether you,I , they or anyone does or doesn't attend won't affect the outcomes. They get paid squillions... it's up to them.
  17. Id rather we didnt.... we can judge it now. Not just me... a lot of ppl ...from.various vantage points are calling time. If we're in this same position next year....we're well and truly stuffed. Nothing will change if nothing changes.
  18. Id actually rate Laurie higher than Billings..... i suspect Laurie doesnt yet feels he belongs out there... but his disposals are generally considered. Not writing him off just yet.
  19. It's what you say..... when there's nothing sensible left to say.....
  20. Yes šŸ‘ Thought he summed it up well. He's obviously a comedic professional.. but also a diehard Dee... with a pretty good idea of the game.
  21. He's trying valiantly imo.. He's feeling the pressure.. I sense he's extremely frustrated and feeling that he's letting the side and himself down. He's not...but i get it.
  22. Yesterday could be suumed up as such : They know how to play the game.... We don't .....
  23. You think.they oughta get a free pass? Something people may wish to ponder. You can change the ingredients ...indeed the recipe but if the cooks are the same cooks youll only get the same treatment and effectively same style of offerings. Need to change the cooks ;) Nothing really will change otherwise.
  24. Great analysis In a nutshell ... many teams better at getting the benefit of Max's efforts.....than we are. Take a bow Melbourne
