The Importance of Jordan Lewis
The Generals are seldom the youngest or the quickest but more often than not, the most astute. I could only wish Lewis had the performance of his better days (@clarkotown) but he still brings buckets of nouse. There'll come the day to hang up the boots. Not there yet.

Disposal Efficiency
It has a lot of competition though but think you're right it's a winner The efficiency of any disposal is really only ever qualified by what happens next. Disposal to advantage is the true litmus

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - MICHAEL HIBBERD
There's no I in team...but there's 'mate' I think Michael is among mates. We're slowly starting to play like a team of mates. Reminds me a little bit of a 'flying carpet' . Not glamorous but effective.

The Importance of Jordan Lewis
I dont watch fox... can't remember the last time i bothered with SEN I have two eyes and hands that can convince a remote to obey. Yet my view would be very similar to RPFC the non-obvious values. We also seem to play better with him than without. Happy to see how it pans out.

The Importance of Jordan Lewis
Yep...no 'stats' awarded for that either. There's a lot of subtlety in many things he does.

Time to show Oscar some respect!
Chris , what you describe is fair. For some ( myself included) that's requisite of a job done ok. Nothing warranting the fanfare being offered. He did ok in the second half. The first was nothing to write home about indeed the 1st qtr was lamentable. He has a long way still to go before , if indeed does, becoming a more than decent back of note. Many might have that as a card marked. It's purely obsevational and various opinions drawn. Playing an ok game is not the be all. Playing well is the bar. When/if Oscar plays a whole game OK that will be another step up. Still...in all fairness, there's a lot of his teammates yet to play a whole game. When he does, when the team does we'll be far more accomplished and successful. Ill take the 4 points and a nod to those improving. Oscar did ok... eventually. Thats better for sure than not.

Id concur. His first half all but single handedly ( or rather... single footedly ) paved a way for a loss. His second half, whilst being his best was just adequate ( look it up folks ). Commensurate with doing a job , neither exceptional nor poorly. ( Yes arguably an improvement ) No idea what some fawn over. Has still a long way to go.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Shlt happens. Not to suggest Gus is....just his bad run of luck. But what is...is I'd like Gus up and firing. I'd like Lever in our backline. Shlt happens

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Hardly his fault. Did his job properly...unlike some perhaps. Until Jakes signs with crows..is a possibility..if not a probability

THE BOMBERS' DOPING SAGA - THE FAT LADY SINGS
Panahi far from being a loose cannon is a very informed and motivated commentor. No scattergun here. Gil would be wise to be most respectful of her.

THE BOMBERS' DOPING SAGA - THE FAT LADY SINGS
I may well be wrong but i thought in the case of civil action it becomes incumbent upon the defendant to prove beyond reasonable probability. Love to see how EFC do that. Hopefully a legal type can clarify.

THE BOMBERS' DOPING SAGA - THE FAT LADY SINGS
Strikes me as door opening for a handfull of civil actions. Think I'll stock up on the Reds and cheeses Still more to play out...for some whiles.

End of year delistings
I suspect ol Spencil at crossroads. We'll have to offer more than a year if we want his services. As you allude id bet someone has some 3 year scrip at the ready.

End of year delistings
The way a lot of contracts run i don't know cap space will factor for 2-3 years. Theres a window to get 'filler' types as FA etc for the interim. Interesting times await at end of season.

End of year delistings
Rather surprised Hulett is on many's list for chop. A bit early maybe. Harry finally leaves our hallowed halls... following his physical self who may or may not ever been here Trenners must surely be facing crunch time. I really wish him well. A fine exponent of self belief and application. Respect this fellow. BK must be doubtful starter in 18. A number may get offers, ( to move ) JKH...Kent. AVB may or may not be seen as depth. I could see Bernie staying another year. The question...how many spots do we need ? Might dictate who goes...when.
