That was NEVER happening. You see that now ? He was ALWAYS going... In some respects he'd been gone for a while. Such is life. We'll ( MFC) be fine.

There's a sea out there. It's a mass of perceptions , of interpretation , of half descriptions. Careful where you fish .

Farewell Jesse Hogan
The only angst anyone will have is of their own creation. The positive is we are Melbourne. ... And everyone else isn't. Am looking forward to seeing our noobs in red and blue. What others do ... . isn't us.

There's a very apt expression for all of this perhaps... That was then, this is now. What is ... is Can't wait to beat Fremantle again....but simply because they are just another team....and I prefer winning. This bloke that's gone ..just one of hundreds we play against. Go Dees

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - STEVEN MAY
I get that ..but May fills a void.. Preuss is a backup icing on the cake. We would still play ok without Preuss... We're back to so-so down back without May.

He's moved on to the next chapter. I'm sure he'd always be welcome as a friend of Melbourne, if nothing else. We have our lives to live as he has his.

- Recruiting a 3rd tall forward to find another 50 goals?
The club ISNT going with 3 talls in 19... therefore we aren't looking for one. The expectations are the forward 'group' will kick goals among them. We'll only be looking to develop other forwards should either Tmac or Weed goes down.- Farewell Jesse Hogan
It's a bit like the Smokey hiding in plain sight- WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - STEVEN MAY
There's an aspect to this which I'm not sure if already mentioned. Leadership. We just poached a Captain. Someone with real leadership ability. We bemoan the lack of leadership at times...well.. here's some.- WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - STEVEN MAY
I've not noticed Pig take any backward steps either. We might scare a few teams with our list. Another summer in the gym... Won't be too many boys out on the paddock- WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - STEVEN MAY
He goes ok. Has a big appetite for the game...snacks on forwards I'm told- Recruiting a 3rd tall forward to find another 50 goals?
We're not going to play with a 3 KP talls forward in 19. We'll use 2 talls with a floating utility..coming through with the play. They'll be a spread of goal kickers..Much harder to defend...more unpredictable eh Mr Smith- Farewell Jesse Hogan
What a fascinating thread to read and participate in- Recruiting a 3rd tall forward to find another 50 goals?
no... maybe you're just not funny- Recruiting a 3rd tall forward to find another 50 goals?
Thing is possibly unlike your good self they do have a clue as to a plan. It's not really that overly disguised either. . Am sure you'll twig- Recruiting a 3rd tall forward to find another 50 goals?
Not that hard to grasp is it.
