I actually disagree. We can cover the front yard. The engine rooms getting an upgrade. We need our backyard in order. It isn't yet. We got screwed in the prelim,not because we couldn't kick goals , so much as we couldn't stop them from doing so. Hogan isnt that difference in our game. I obviously have a very different take on things than most. That's fine by me.

Well....not really DC. Our leverage is much greater right at the moment. Freo will have much better picks this year than is likely next. Sure we can keep Jesse...but we won't get the same ridiculous offers in 12 m time. I'd rather have players in 19 that will be there in 20. Let's continue the construct and refinement without hiccups.

I think Eagles just keeps Dockers honest here. Im struggling to see how Eagles can make it work. If by a miracle they can it will take conjuring of the highest order and adeal of time and other trades. Are we any better off ? Freo effectively HAVE the capacity to deal. I would expect it's still very much Freemantle. Bell can't fluff around now just in case, but still very much doubt we'll get 4/5. 4 or 5 and something...and done quite early.
