lol...ahh got to love the angst many have for alonf while given serious stick to the selections..You deny that fine. ( as per example..tonight almost EVERYONE is FOR the selections..this is rare ) . its more than just last week Bing...just saying All players have ups and downs..but its their core ability you have to go with sometimes. I think this is just such a time. Height ( too much ) is unnecessary up there...in the heat and humidity...he who stands up longest will win. Both Spargo and jeffy have something practically no one else in the team has...X factor...can make something out of nothing..I dare say Trac has some...on his day.. Maybe theyll all lhave a GOOD WIN this game Weve struggled to keep the ball in our 50...and struggled to make use of the ground ball... Jeffy and Spargo should fix this My other post suggests Spargo might play a high HFF role..so in a fashion doing a little of what Tyson does around the wing. VFL is another world...different metrics ought to be used.. imho

Not having Sandilands means theyll probably lose the ruck....so have nearly every team playing Max Gawn...makes no difference...other teams better at clearances than us still. Not having Fyffe should hurt. Our history at that ground isn't too flash..... Freo ought to be a little better aclimatised atm to warmer things. If Richo can figure us out you can BET your house Ross Lyon will know what Goody is thinking..before Goody is thinking it !! This might if we're lucky be a close game

Yes...he does need to lift...to stand up...to actually impact the game for 4/4. Most certainly. Has a busload of mates who might join in. Strangely some need to take the foot off the pedal a tad and concentrate more on the steering. Whatever's ailing Trac he either needs to put it aside or get over it.

not KP..for sure...but , maybe just me , I see the makings of a very lethal forward flanker... By nature thats a player that moves into the fwd line...and though the guts. If hes not quick enough to be a small fwd then he isnt likely imho to be quick enough to play as a mid either...( I presume an outside player )

Maclure is right...sadly It's not Trucks fault we're in a rut ( as is he ) ...it's more he's a symptom, as suggested of it all. If Track lifts... that's good but the idea it's his presence ,in a better playing performance, that might drive us onward and upward is I feel misplaced. Christian plays in a somewhat manic manner at present. He's up , down, all over the shop but rarely if ever... consistent. This is another signature of our game... we're manic ...and inconsistent. We need a better accross the board cohesive effort. Everyone keeps waiting for this Jack in a Box to jump up and rip a game apart, and that not only will that make the difference on that day but will crack the dam and release the torrents ever after. You'll be a long time waiting. As mercurial and exciting as he can be, sporadically and mostly cameo, he hasn't the tank to go at it all game nor does it seem to this observer the capacity as yet to stay focused and driven. If we're waiting for Christian... we're in for an unpleasant wait. I think it'll be another preseason and some serious thinking on his part before we see the better/ improved CP and I hope we do. He's not our Mr fix it though.
