I have a sneaking feeling that as far as infrastructure to a FD and the training ( its nature and quality) go we are as googd as anyones now. What WILL take the time is for it to affect and have effect upon the group. I expect a vast improvement over ladt season and then step ups in following seasons as the new regimes influence really kicks in. It certainly sounds like we leave very little to chance now where as once upon a time everything seemed to be that way; chance !!!

Very much so....but, The but is: if the team gets off to a decent enough start there are thousands who sit on fences., thousands who need that nudge, a security in knowing they might be on to something. yes ,they arent like us, but they are they and thats fair enough. if you want to win these over then you need to win. High altitude is also very much about oxygen and efficiencey of breathing. You will labor much harder to do ANYTHING..even skiing downhill is harder,, sounds ridiculous I know but ive skied Colorado's peaks (well some ) and youre buggered just getting them planks to run. So you do it all 'harder'..Come downstairs again and its relatively easy peasy. My experiences in humidity ( which I loathe ) is somewhat similar. The air is heavier, breathing is labored also , but might be for a totally diferrent actual reason. effect is not dissimilar from altitude. ITS HARD. Also in heat and humidity the body cant cool efficiently so it will run its core higher. you can keep it personally...lol Cant wait for Nepal...now that WILL be interesting

The Game has entered the premiership qtr. The AFL is plonking along having the wind at its back for most of the first half. They seem to have the game in their sights but have been unable to shake the Dees who have been plucky and determined in their defence even though the Umps are murdering them so far !! The Awfuls might have gone too early as the Dees seem to have plenty of puff and fight left in reserve and now as one of the AFL's stars has retired from the game they are being shown up as possible pretenders. Its a hard game to call but you just get the inkling that the mighty Demons might finish all over this upstart mob as the Red and Blue dig deep into their spirit the AwFuLs seem to be running around rather lacklustre and down on intensity. The breeze seems to have swung around to be at Melbourne's back. 3/4 time and the Dees have their nose in front. At the huddles Melbourne troops are being fully charged by their determined leaders, if body language alone was the litmus then the Dees have it in the bag as over at the over lot shoulders are drooping and one man to another they're looking around for some purpose and direction with no one seemingly able to provide it. The Awfuls seems to just be going through the motions now., just wanting this game over. Not long to the finish now ; Go Dees
