Well...purely conjecture...but My take is it took a while to land a coach purely because what WE saw as needs and desired qualities and what possibly Casey saw as theirs werent quite on teh same page. i note that the coach chosen has distinct experience with younger players and development strategies. Now wouldnt that be EXACTLY what wed look for as a club in a Junior development coach ? Casey might have looked to a more VFL style experienced bloke.One whos priorities might have been finals and glory for Casey. Can you see the difference ?? Who have they got ?? So im guessing we wont that battle. Just my take on it I know

my 20c worth Trengove Grimes Clark Jones Dawes Rodan Frawley and maybe ..believe it or not...but Davey I think hes bought back into things and as got himself and by example some others going as well. Hes had a mentoring role for years and I think they'll now look to leverage this ( if hes to be around a year or two ) But in reality the last spot is a bit open for mine.

Whose to say Scorps wont be a better team for all this. Greater allignment dhould have everyone pushing in same direction , all on same page. We'll obviously brnefit by having youth developed but Casey ought to then end up with more involvement and access to our resources . They be all but Melbournes magoos other than name. I see it as a step up for them.

Apples view of the world is narrow and prejudiced. I'm probably now looking at a galaxy or similar or maybe a win8 u beaut multi thing. But I hear the first gen win 8 are troublesome and slow. Be handy to be able to print Emails a bit clumsy on occasions

Logically most data would nned to be based on historical input. Where there isn't any what happens ? Id take it all with a grain of salt. Just stats extrapolated to some persons algorithm. These things are never terribly accurate I reckon

Recently a laptop died (as they do) A daughter has an ipad. Its ok but has limitations. (But it does do what it does in an ok way) The laptop tablet world is changing. For work my old (well brand new actually ) pc is fine. But I can see a requirement for a larger portable device than my smartphone. I thought id try an interim solution. An android tablet. I succumbed to the emails and bought a Kogan Agora 10" thing. I'm loathed to refer to it as a tablet as its more a bitter pill ,otherwise known as a piece of crap. unless you relish the idea of retro experiencing the blinding speed of dial-up days don't bother. Its very slow to load pages, constantly hangs. Its very poor as you attempt to skip from one tab to another. Its rubbish. If they don't take it back I'll wander down the street an seee how many times I can get it to skip across the water before sinking. Maybe the Toadies can get more from it !! Now, I had though about a Galaxy Tab before going all cheapie. Anyone got one? Any other recommendations ? I'm happy to just have wireless as my phone can be used hot to get net so no need to pay for 3g etc. Be interested to hear from ppl Cheers

Me thinks they're at loggerheads !! Some little whiles ago just prior to the Scorps attempt at self immolation I recall reading that the MFC were negotiating the alliance going forward. A very big part of this though wad the insistance that Melbourne have a greatert say in how Casey went about , well everything lol as I seem to remember the tone of the article was even them Melb was worried about Casey and far from impressed by its ability to run itself let alone any alignment and as such the interests of Melb. Then it went bang !!! Then Casey went for a chat with Vlads ppl and I belive we held their hand at that point (happy to be corrected) Not much seems to have surfaced ,publicly, about the conditions of its bail out but one might suppose some of the overiding conditions probably didn't/don't sit well with dyed in the wool casey stalwarts-. This sounds very much like the rucking of antlers. Casey won't win this and need to get on board the new reality. It will be frustrating for some, humbling for others. Build a bridge people.
