  1. i tipped them to win based on their form coming into the game they've got some super talent other than the first quarter and a patch of the third, they were on top
  2. he was unreal kmart trac
  3. Trying to think of the last time I felt so demoralised by a win Perhaps the Trapper masterclass vs Baggers in the Kreuzer Cup But this game made me feel so hollow about the four points
  4. 6: Viney 5: Gawn 4: Rivers 3: ANB 2: Langdon 1: May but really give all the votes to pup brown for his tackle
  5. As you walk up the intonation of ā€œlevel 4 seating is closedā€ it’s all a bit grim
  6. Hate that we’re starting pup as the sub
  7. who we still got a 2nd round pick for, which was about his worth
  8. try 20!
  9. they've claimed it's their final tour for 20 years
  10. will cost a lot, from both a trade and contract perspective i like the looks of max gruzewski, who has replaced cadman this week they have so many tall forwards to pick from wretched franchise
  11. this they've been playing some decent footy for several weeks
  12. with this lot - weitering, cripps, walsh, curnow, mckay - now is their time to strike they remind me so much at our best over the last three years, but with two incredible forward targets
  13. yep...pretty worried
  14. amazing how fast puddy tatts have dropped off since the 2022 premiership selwood and a fit hawkins held em together
  15. i keep thinking puddy tatts are playing gw$ in their charcoal and orange top orange numbers tsunami
  16. danger can barely move at this stage be interesting to see if he warms up in the back half of the game / season, or whether the strings are goneski
  17. peptides i reckon they've got the $$ to spend and the need for a small forward
  18. yeah, and they've won one game
  19. It’s definitely a factor Our 23 profile for tomorrow is much closer to north’s than expected
  20. absolutely we're still competing for a flag; we might be having a down season, but as long as the core three 30+ year olds - gawn, may, viney - are there, absolutely we should be fighting to win it we have 15 other 28+ers on our list: melksham, plugger mac, sideshow bob, tomlinson, hunter, mcadam, salem, billings, lever, petracca, brayshaw, anb, langdon, js29, hore of those, two effectively 'retired' before the 2024 season, six are integral parts of best 23 as it goes, and at least three - milkshake, bob, tomlinson - would be expected to be off our list in 2025 either thru retirement or going to another side so you want to throw the baby - gawn, may, viney - out with the bathwater? i don't know what yr advocating for here; the only 28+ers who are 'depth' on our list going forward would be hunter, mcadam, billings, hore, and at least two of those are ooc at the end of 2024 and no guarantee to be on the list you have got to have depth on yr list in order to continue to get better and ALLOW the kids to develop without pressure to perform after all, how did stripmining our senior depth go for us last time? pretty miserably from memory, and those equivalent three - white, yze, junior mac - were nowhere near as good as our current core senior citizens
  21. Denver and Milwaukee are failures then I guess - winning their first championships and otherwise not making conference finals over a six year period when they have two of the most dominant players in the game Denver lost Murray pre title year to injury and then this year just couldn’t get it done cos of incredible match up - Minnesota were literally put together to beat them Milwaukee lost Giannis this year and last I guess we see disappointment vs failure differently There’s so much luck involved in ultimate success at the highest level
  22. or, alternatively, gawn is as professional and even better than goldstein and still playing when he's 37 yr a long time retired, and there's no reason to think he can't keep going for a long time yet
  23. That’s 8 players with under 50 games experience, and Bowey at 53, with 10 aged under 23 at the start of this month playing for us Pretty young and inexperienced
  24. i'mma guess at... IN: Tomlinson, Tholstrup, Pup Brown, Ben Brown OUT: Petracca, Billings, Laurie, Turner
  25. IMO not being able to qualify for finals is the failure We didn’t capitalise on our opportunities There were a variety of factors at play as to why, but ultimately it was a disappointing result…not a failure
