KOZZY A DEMON FOR LIFE!!!
flagmantle were meant to be a serious finals contender shortly after they were invented - failed to achieve much, despite having some super players flagmantle were meant to be a serious finals contender after they poached ross lyon in the dead of the night - failed to achieve much, made one grand final, despite having pavlich, one of the greatest footballers of his era flagmantle were meant to be a serious finals contender under longmuir - have thus far failed to achieve much, made one finals series in 5 years i don't know why anyone takes them seriously nor why any sensible player would want to go there

Tom McDonald at CHF?
me either what i am convinced by is that may + lever + petty is a better back 3 than may + lever + mcdonald, both in 2021, 2025, and in to the future petty will assume the role as our #1 tall defender once may retires - super 1:1, excellent defending the aerial ball, zones well, disposes of it neatly

Tom McDonald at CHF?
try halfway thru 2024 - had been down back til he was shunted forward one week in the vfl; next week he was playing seniors as a forward plugger mac said last year that his ankles make it hard for him to play as a forward - i don't quite understand why, but i presume it's something to do with the running and pivoting required our forward structure in 2024 and going, ahem, forward would seem to be set at van rooyen, turner, fritsch, and then one of jefferson / johnson / insert-mobile-tall-here

KOZZY A DEMON FOR LIFE!!!
i think jackson and pickett would be fighting it out with chad warner, anderson, serong, and young as who falls out of the top 5 picks the list goes on; rowell, rivers, greens, flanders, day, georgiades, weightman, bergman, keidi coleman - that draft was stacked with top tier talent

PREGAME: Match SIM vs North Melbourne
peak demonland; proving that pandemic may - or may not - be a global phenomenon fwiw, listened to an ny times daily podcast during the week about bird flu; it's a-comin' https://www.nytimes.com/2025/02/13/podcasts/the-daily/bird-flu-eggs.html sounds like veterinarians are coming down with it: https://www.nytimes.com/2025/02/13/science/cdc-bird-flu-infections.html

SSP contenders
i vote for culley, based purely on the speculation of trackwatchers as i have, frankly, no idea... ...but gimme more depth in the midfield

KOZZY A DEMON FOR LIFE!!!
ah, the mfcss is strong in you... he stays, he stays; he goes, he goes - we won't be unrewarded if he does choose to go, and flagmantle continue to pay a fortune to put together a side that...has made finals once in longmuir's five completed seasons in charge there's no point worrying about something that MIGHT happen when there's a full season to come

Kayo is 4K in 2024
slightly outdated - kayo basic is now $40pm so $480 a year; $350 says it's a $180 discount which is pretty decent; kayo one at $25m is $300, so getting the 4k version for an extra $50 a year is a decent buy but my gosh kayo is getting expensive; i had it when it was $5 a month thru telstra for at least the first 18-24 months, then it went up to $15 for year 3, then $35, then i cancelled it daz n taking over would, you'd imagine, see the price approaching $50 in the not too distant future, which may be a bridge too far for many, particularly if they lose the espn content

KOZZY A DEMON FOR LIFE!!!
Little paper version: ‘Have to do my time’: Pickett breaks silence on trade reports Choice quotes: Pressed on whether he’d like to move to Perth to play for Fremantle, Pickett added: “I’m still contracted at Melbourne. Asked whether his text messages specifically outlined a desire to play for Fremantle, Pickett said: “I just text like general friends. I’m pretty close with some of them.” “Being away in Melbourne, there’s always a bit of homesickness but I’m still contracted and I still have to do my time there,” he said. “We always have open and honest conversations. To be able to express myself and express my homesickness as a part of that relationship means we’re pretty close.”

Farewell Judd McVee
I would be amazed if the two WA clubs weren’t all over him Despite what ZH thinks, I imagine the other 17 clubs - plus our own - would rank him in the best small defenders in the competition

Kayo is 4K in 2024
they tried the same thing in italy, too, where they hold the serie a and serie b rights of course, this only came after the italian govt tried to see daz n for the appalling quality of their streaming coverage

are you doubting artificial intelligence's ability to medically diagnose? next you'll be saying that dr dermott's ability to diagnose an injury to a player in perth while commentating from a bunker in dorcas st, south melbourne, is in question

2025 MFC Injury List
i think, at this stage, it's something more like only fullarton, kentfield, mcvee, and tholstrup with injuries / illnesses likely to rule them out of the first part of the pre-season / season

Proof Van Rooyen has made it?
personally i think the proof that jvr has 'made it' is that he's front and centre for all the promo shots that involve the club for the afl, c7, and daz n (foxtel / kayo)

ai says: A high hamstring tear, also called a "proximal hamstring tear," is generally considered worse than a tear closer to the knee (distal hamstring tear) because the high hamstring is closer to the bone attachment point and can involve more severe tendon damage, potentially leading to longer recovery times and sometimes requiring surgical intervention in severe cases.
