  1. Be nice if the maggots would pay a holding free to Dawes once in a blue moon.
  2. They will if we allow set shots inside 30-40m like we have today. As a rule that's something that we haven't allowed, this year at any rate.
  3. Just allowing far too many low entries inside 40m. One of the best things we have done all year and one of the reasons teams have struggled to score against us is that we haven't allowed that. Shocking allowance of 'advantage' by that maggot.
  4. Thank you for being incompetent, Robin Nahas.
  5. They are getting to many easy f50 entries.
  6. Since when is Pav retiring?
  7. Isn't $500k per annum about the gap payment that the afl is increasing the cap by?
  8. Lovely hands in close and goes hard at the contest.
  9. He's strong, he's aggressive and he's a beautiful kick. He's also 10cm short of what he needs to be a key forward.
  10. Nice. Now come in and be the star we want you to be. Huge money for a kid who has yet to play a game, but it's an investment in the future.
  11. cats keen, according to afl.com.au.
  12. didn't emma quayle rate cameron conlon as one of the brightest talents of last year's crop? could be one to keep an eye on for the back half of this year's tac cup.
  13. tom mitchell is not out of contract i don't think - i read the other day he signed a long-term extension at the end of 2012?
  14. a litigator's perspective: http://www.bigfooty.com/news/2014/06/reading-between-the-lines-of-essendons-court-application-against-asada-a-litigators-perspective/
  15. it's farcical that they want to see the evidence. i think them asking for an extension makes perfect sense, as it delays it until after the fed court action. once again, the players are being forced to do something that might be ultimately deleterious to their position, all thanks to something essendon has done - regardless of that it now makes sense for them to do so to see what comes of that. the most sensible course of action would have been for them to answer the show-cause notices in the first place, and the efc to have not got involved in that aspect of it; but no, it's all about protecting the players...what a joke! going to the fed court does not help the players bring a resolution to proceedings. i just can't see this whole thing ending well for anyone. except the lawyers, natch.
  16. Great stuff, shame it's not closer to the G. How old is Tiernan now? Would love a Stynes father-son in future years.
  17. That article is yet another example of the sycophantic herald sun reporting on something they was revealed in about June last year. They seemed to have missed the distinction that the email says players CAN be eligible for no fault, no suspension exemptions, not WILL get that. No one wins in this - not the bombers as a club, not their fans, not their players, not the afl as an organisation, not their staff, or former staff, not asada or it's former staff. The only winners are going to be the lawyers.
  18. unbelievably, at this stage i'd rate salem as the best kick at the club, he just looks the most natural. jones just ahead of watts. salem n jones watts dunn vince tyson kent and jkh not that far behind tyson at this stage - so far, he looks like a lovely user of the ball.
  19. just had the most hilarious debate with a bombers mate. she's adamant it's been a trial by media, and that melbourne should be investigated for the text messages. "so where was the trial by media? who's head rolled? by was the narrative ONLY about us?" ha! "yet, we've received show cause notices. after 16 months of being told it was aod that we were going down for. which, by the way, is WELL evidenced that melbourne took" haha! "an essendon player last night said he is 100% certain the vial had a thomomodulin label on it." now we're talking! you know the best way of getting this evidence out there? respond to the show-cause notices! don't go to the fed court to block em!
  20. My Bombers mate is super excited by this action , yet again thinks it'll vindicate her team. They're just delusional!
  21. North-Dogs in the afternoon fixture leading into the 7 news and the Victorian-centric appeal thing Crows-? (Saints?) as the night game on Poxtel
  22. Just about the in form full back in the competition at the moment.
