  1. Those stats are great but the fantasy points are way off. Great to see Tapscott, Michie, Terlich, JKH and Barry all laying 5+ tackles.
  2. Re Bootsma, according to whom? First I've heard that one! Would love Tom Mitchell but just can't see it happening.
  3. Aaron Young has re-signed with Port. Moore and O'Shea remain OOC.
  4. Despite the loss, good to see Michie, Tapscott, Toumpas and Blease in the bests.
  5. God Dean Kent reminds me of Swan.
  6. i think we might be in for a world of pain today. we cannot get the ball forward of the centre square.
  7. take out our alice springs crowd and that average increase much?
  8. I've had the exact same experience. One bombers supporting adamant that they're saving the code: "Be serious. This is the only action to take. & every Club would if they could afford it. 11 clubs, including yours are thankful for this witch hunt. "If you thought your club hadn't taken any illegal substances, would you want them to admit they had just foot the good of the game. Sorry, but no [censored] way. "Taking a penalty is admitting they systematically doped players. They believe they didn't. We compromised once - we got [censored]. Never again."
  9. yep. once again, the dees get rooted.
  10. Little said his club had agreed not to challenge the investigation process when it self-reported, but now that show-cause notices had been issued, it felt "honour-bound to challenge". as per wj's brilliant hearing. what a farce. i cannot see this ending well.
  11. that's definitely one thing the tiggas have got right i reckon - draft picks need to EARN a higher number. start em in a higher number, make them earn that promotion to a low number.
  12. It's two years, and they can't serve it only across off-season - that'd be absurd. If they're found guilty, it's automatic two year ban.
  13. He's always beaten up on the Tigers.
  14. Uncle fester - that would be a very sad situation. Total popcorn moment tho.
  15. yeah, i just still think he'd offer something at afl level as well, you can never have too much depth.
  16. yeah, i still maintain o'keefe would be in our side. his experience is invaluable. i'd be much more comfortable with him in the side than bail or matt jones, for instance. and i think both of those guys would make the side. he'd be the first player i'd select of our 'depth' to bring in to give salem and potentially jkh a full game at a lower level this week. his determination to prove the swans next year is exactly why i could see him playing for us, not to mention his history with roos and the majority of our coaching staff. he wasn't awful by any means last year, and he won the norm smith the previous grand final to that./
  17. he's just fascinated by our club. it's actually great that we're in the media all the time in terms of repucom score. http://www.afl.com.au/news/2014-06-11/paul-roos-the-rebuilder he's essentially calling roos a gun-for-hire. and it wouldn't surprise me if he's half-right. god knows the likes of richmond, carlton and potentially west coast could do with his approach.
  18. petracca from vic metro and wigg from south australia look like they'd be fine additions to our side. first round, second round, stretch as a third? interesting that the latter wasn't mentioned at all, given that the article on afl.com.au talked specifically about him on the weekend.
  19. he'd easily be in our best 22. he's one of the fittest blokes going around. it's not proven that he's lost a yard of pace - he had a bad start to the year and it's not just tom mitchell who has been piling up big numbers in the neafl (although nowhere near - mitchell's was a extraordinary achievement). would have him in a heartbeat next year.
