  1. it's a terrible tactical offer in my view dodoro had a reputation as a difficult negotiator, but this takes it to another level hopefully unlike gc17 we aren't absolute gumbies
  2. hahahahahahahaahaha
  3. is that for real? absolutely no deal from my perspective
  4. if we give up pick 5 as part of the may deal i will be ropeable unless we get something SIGNIFICANT back i know it's just my mfcss speaking, but i feel like we are about to be absolutely bent over and pillaged
  5. so presumably now: neale goes to bears 5, may and kk go to melbourne for hogan 10 and future 2nd from melbourne goes to gc17 11 goes to gw$ for lobb and freo get hogan and lobb?
  6. not from my understanding at clubs that are neither melbourne or freo - board have to approve actual pay packets over a certain level
  7. could be as many as seven teams involved... brisbane - neale in for beams plus picks movement collingwood - beams in for langdon plus picks movement fremantle - hogan in for may plus picks movement gc17 - may out plus picks movement melbourne - hogan out for may (and kk?) plus picks movement st. kilda - hannebery in plus picks movement sydney - langdon in for hannebery plus picks movement
  8. Boards generally have to approve final pay packets for players over a certain wage
  9. suntan terry was saying the other day you have to use one first rounder across the course of five years - no idea when the afl made the change or announced it
  10. his raw numbers are not particularly compelling: http://websites.sportstg.com/team_info.cgi?action=PSTATS&pID=196455977&client=0-118-0-339767-20320232
  11. Goldstein was back to his best form, Majak was playing well, Brown and Waite and others held forward spots... I am clutching at straws as I personally rate Tyson far more highly than Preuss...
  12. Disagree, Polec is not flakey at all
  13. Polec adds pace Tyson adds grunt Makes two instant mix best 22 additions
  14. If they don’t win a final at a minimum their 2019 year is a failure
  15. i'm sticking with my 'too small, too selfish, prone to turn it over' rating (seeing as we were never in the conversation to get him; if we were, i'd adore him)
  16. i wouldn't be including any further picks of ours in the trade with them 5 and 14 and langdon for hogan i would consider 5 and next year's future first and langdon i would consider, and then probably say, sure, and cerra for our future first too no matter what happens i want the pick BEFORE them in this year's draft then 14 or freo future first, 41 and tyson to gc17 for may and kk
  17. That’s essentially what Port did with Boak in 2018 and it doesn’t work; they can’t contribute effectively to the defensive press which, when coupled with non-defensive key forwards such as Dixon (see Plugger Mac for us) and Watts (Hogan), means that you’re extremely limited in terms of the pressure you can place on blokes Jones was fine on the wings imo - as I think he said on On the Couch, the reason why he’s played more wing in 2018 is that an experienced player can read the play more effectively than a kid, and contribute both going forward and back He ain’t quick, but he’s smart
  18. need another wicket tonight to get us past 186 i feel...
  19. freo are stuck in that awkward position of beating the poor teams at home, the really poor away, and not being remotely close to those above them i can completely understand why they're targeting hogan, but if they lose neale they're really robbing peter to pay paul their home ground advantage finds them actually stuck btw a rock and a hard place
  20. Gary Buckenara rates him highly: KADE KOLODJASHNIJ: Kolodjashnij has had injury and health issues over the last few years but he has shown himself to be a really good AFL player when fit. I believe he is a potential A-grader, so Gold Coast would want close to A-grade compensation. A first-round pick or a good experienced player would be an ideal trade.
  21. chan marshall sums it up for me with her rihanna cover: Not really sure how to feel about it Something in the way you move Makes me feel like I can't live without you It takes me all the way I want you to stay
  22. Retired: Harley Balic, Bernie Vince Delisted: Tomas Bugg, Lochie Filopovic (rookie), Dion Johnstone, Mitch King, Pat McKenna, Cam Pedersen 7 off the senior list, 1 off the rookie
