  1. can't wait to listen tomorrow on the commute keep up the great work
  2. i feel sorry for him his best years, by far, were under roos - and even then he got dropped to the vfl he has the "distinction" of being dropped by every senior coach he's had now all the talent in the world, but none of the desire required
  3. What do you rate our performance out of 10 to this point? Why? 7, we are 8-4 after 12, could be 9-3 save for an errant Nax set shot, and that six straight run was glorious Which player has impressed you the most? Bailey Fritsch: he’s come from a mature age second round pick playing as a third tall to having a wing position as his own Which draftee has made the biggest impact? Fritsch, without any competition. What has been our best win to date? Adelaide by 91: both teams were under pressure to perform and we stepped up Which player(s) needs to improve in the second half of the year? Garlett , Tyson, and any other ostensible best 22 player currently playing in the vfl What has been our most disappointing performance? Hawthorn: we gave up Where do you see us finishing? Give a win/loss and finishing position We should beat St Kilda, Fremantle, the Dogs and GC17, but I don’t know if we can win many more than that...I’m going for 12-8 and finishing 9th

can we just remember that two games ago trac picked up 22 possessions and kicked three goals straight yep, he wasn't good yesterday, but he wasn't alone - the hand-wringing over his form is a little excessive
  5. once o mac went down there was no one else, unless you wanted t mac thrown back? we were trying to win the game

The notion of JKH being in our afl 22 frightens me

Port will be a massive game At this stage you’d likely say Garlett and T Smith / Weideman for Spargo and Pedersen, although I’d like Tyson in for Vince and play Harmes defensively where he can be accountable for a man No idea how we match up with Port’s tall forward structure of Dixon, Marshall, Watts plus Westhoff floating in As always it’ll come down to the midfield battle and winning contested ball, something we’ve been smashed in for two weeks
  8. One of very few prepared to give second efforts today Many worse than he was
  9. 6: Plugger Mac 5: Oliver 4: Jetta 3: Smith 2: Fritsch 1: Lewis Lewis gets a vote cos unlike others he kept buttering up for secondary contests We had a lot of top liners down (Hogan, Gawn, Salem) and a lot of b-graders plodding it up (Trac, Gus, Harmes, Spargo) Ugly loss
  10. They’re killing us on the outside and with their quick hands Our mid level players are nowhere to be seen at this stage and we lack the penetration i50 that we’ve had for the last six weeks We will need a massive second half to turn it around
  11. It’s not so much the free kicks that are paid for them as it is those that are not paid to us Jones ragdolled without it, Pies players throwing it for fun, Gawn pushed in the back...no whistle As I feared they are way too quick for us at this stage
  12. yep, don't disagree with that but in a post vince, post lewis world, i still see jones as a midfield rather than back flank rotation i don't want brayshaw going anywhere near the half-back flank either, so really it's harmes as the other option currently on our list who knows, we may have someone emerge in the second half of the year as a defensive option...dion johnstone, your time is now next year we'll have lewis, and i see no reason not to have vince either given the form he's in and we can sign him on a one-year deal but i really hope hunt does work out a way to become something more
  13. Media are talking us up so that they can tear us down when we fall over Jennings and McCarthy have both had glowing media portraits thus far this year, with media pundits speculating - with zero quotes, anonymous or otherwise - that they could be the perfect fit for several clubs Hope neither want to go
  14. We play a back 7 Jetta - O Mac Hunt - Lever - Petty - Hibberd - Salem With Joel Smith in reserve
  15. Keep going you Jokers
  16. how on earth did frost manage to not kick that? dees have dominated everywhere but the scoreboard; pies accuracy all that has kept them in it
  17. balic is melksham mk 2?
  18. petty has controlled that back half and when weed is clunking those sorts of marks you can't help but watch the kid and think 'add 10km of muscle please' - he has agility and the basic traits of a key forward, but he's undersized and only 20 years old...will be a player
  19. that is a ridiculous over-statement he's 20 ffs
  20. https://7plus.com.au/live-tv
  21. maggots gonna maggot! should've been a free for over the shoulder to petty, but instead pies get a goal from another terrible free
  22. jkh has real guts, throws himself into the contest
  23. he's a 20 year old 200cm ruckman give him five years and we'll have more of a clue
  24. bugg shows him how it's done* *mitch king, do NOT take goalkicking lessons from tom bugg! why on earth bring that free back - atrocious umpiring
  25. how on earth did he miss that
