shoutout from toot toot! i don't care if he's our highest paid player, personally he's a very, very good player -
Dangerfield has never said a bad word about anyone or anything ever He’d find positives about Hannibal Lecter: “if you’d seen his sautéed leg, you’d know he could’ve been a super talented chef”

i, for one, am a fan he's a classic unfashionable defender where at the start of his career you're not sure what his skill level is actually like, you have no idea what he's going to do with the ball in hand, or where the next turnover is coming from...and then by the end of last season i was more or less comfortable with him as our best tall defender now, in saying that, he's no star and it's completely understandable why lever has been targeted BUT, at the same time, he is calm with the ball in hand now, makes sensible decisions, and for the most part doesn't make you panic like mad anymore he is tracking remarkably consistently with his brother, who was playing in a significantly poorer side at the same age i'm confident he'll be vital to our defence for the future -

the casey comments were concerning; no surprise he got cut -
Would love Dahlhaus or Macrae, would expect they wouldn’t let the latter go at all

I don’t disbelieve you fwiw Saty But what role is it that has been outlined for him? I don’t think he’s ‘best option’ for any position yet, but no doubt that he’s on the list there will be an opportunity for him at stage I ultimately don’t think there’s enough about his ‘brand’ of football to make it at afl level - not massively quick, can get a lot of it in vfl but doesn’t seem to do much with it based on the scant # of games i’ve seen, doesn’t appear to have any brilliant skills, not a big tackler, not a ‘smart’ player but we shall see -

He’s super young, and I think it’s worth remembering he barely played at underage level due to injury etc His frame looks like he will be able to build a decent size in time, but it’s going to be a slow build He has the talent, now a matter of building the body to allow him to use it -
Vince, Bugg and Lewis have no value, and the two senior citizens bring more to the side than Watts does Watts is being offered up because he has value

i want him played as a permanent forward / relief ruck in 2018 it's where he seems to play his best football, with his attack on the ball in the air and defensive efforts at ground level pretty impressive to play primarily as a defender for the majority of games and still end up with more goals than games, and accurately at that with 23 goals 7, and 19-3 free kick count in his favour, is super impressive -

when injury-free, i believe he's never been dropped the football dept clearly has massive faith in his ability to deliver at afl-level his body has consistently let him down big opportunity in 2018 looms -

I’m another who found it unfathomable that he got a new deal Can’t kick, not quick, sloppy disposal - I fail to see any upside whatsover He will need to show a helluva lot more in 2018 to justify his spot on the list -
To a greater or lesser degree it seems like he’s not prepared to move interstate due to his comfort of home surrounds and no one in Victoria wants him including MFC

Lever is believed to have informed the Crows of his wish on Tuesday and is certain to nominate Melbourne as his preferred destination. jake niall confirms he's requesting a trade: https://www.foxsports.com.au/afl/jake-lever-officially-tells-adelaide-that-he-wants-to-be-traded-to-victorianbased-afl-club/news-story/18ed1449aba092ba0cc8661635f295cc -
based on his comments, nothing's changed with his mindset disappointing

Very odd indeed My guess is Pies or bust, then?

hits more targets by foot than danger and is seven years younger -
Incorrect He wasn’t eligible for father-son, and if had been, they would’ve snapped him up, plus Murray was the 1958 skipper at the Pies and his grandfather - the story is pretty well known, can’t believe you could get this one so wrong Kelly, at the Crows, was overlooked as a father-son, as was Stewart ex-GW$, now at the Peptides I’m disappointed that Kennedy failed to come on - his underage football was electric
-
He could - he’d be well within his right to say I want to be a one club player Brad Sewell all over again
