CASEY DEMONS: Rd 12 vs UWS Giants
no coverage as far as i am aware be interesting to see if players donโt play full games tonight for casey you would think AVB, Ben Brown, Melksham and maybe Chandler would be next cabs off the ranks

yes, sorry, force of habit with a bombers mate - he's been referred to as ellen since the first time we clapped eyes on him

GAMEDAY: Rd 16 vs GWS
i'd send harmes straight to taranto - he's probably their best inside midfield expecting another close win; they match up pretty well against us, and we with them - styles are not too dissimilar and i'm non too pleased that they got to train as well as play on the g again

they think ellen is going to win the brownlow tho he's a stats pig but he really isn't damaging enough for the amount of ball he wins

the afl made a song and dance about how they were going to bring the start of friday night football games forward a little bit, to 7.40pm that seems to have fallen by the wayside

Trade Targets
meanwhile, doubts already beginning about the quality of this year's draft crop https://www.sen.com.au/news/2021/07/01/why-some-afl-recruiters-believe-the-upcoming-draft-could-be-a-bit/ Itโs been a bit disappointing the recruiters are saying, the (national underage) championships are starting very shortly so weโll get a good gauge on it.

TEAMS: Rd 16 vs GWS
really interested by gw$ midfield mix and that they're clearly intending to go head to head with us gawn / jackson - oliver - petracca - viney - harmes - jordon - sparrow plus langdon - brayshaw on the wings vs mumford / flynn - taranto - ward - hopper - green - kennedy - perryman plus kelly - whitfield on the wings winning the contest will go a long way toward winning the game, you'd think

NON-MFC: Rd 16 2021
about to sign a long-term deal with gc17 from all reports i would've thought, this weekend, that my tips would've been: tiggas puddy tatts us bears carltank pear swans aints footscray hoping like blazes that gc17 can win tonight but it doesn't look likely

Luke โdoggaโ Jackson rising star favourite
david king was frothing about him tonight on 360 then they talked about how exciting the peptides' kids are... lol

COVID & AFL 2021
the vic 2022 election should be interesting - o'brien (or, more likely, his replacement) will undoubtedly make it a 'lockdown election' and the result may give an indication as to what effect the murdoch approach to screaming anti-labor sentiment at every opportunity actually has in reality

mostly deviated septums, surely...

CHANGES: Rd 16 vs GWS
fritsch is our leading goalkicker, he plays as a tall but isn't a tall, he's great on the lead but not contested marks, and he runs his socks off every week to power up and down the ground for all that...he's the logical 'out' for sideshow bob...but i can't see it happening

Local media pundits not taking MFC as a serious threat.
this is why i have dr. d on ignore; his doom and gloom is positively exhausting we'll all be 'rooned, said hanrahan!

What they're saying down at Windy Hill
heppell is their jones - just a good loyal honest citizen and a no muss no fuss skipper

i don't think we're a 'sexy' side compared to footscray, the bears, or even the peptides, who are all high attack, high scoring teams we're more grinders who stop the oppo scoring and keep them at arm's length from us; it's why we don't score super heavily but neither do our opposition i don't think there's any doubt that we are very well respected by oppo coaches etc because they're trying to work out how to stop us stopping them - they have to play high risk, high reward football to take us on, which is obviously fraught with danger given how well we are set up defensively i'd rather be respected by other football clubs than the media
