  1. the swans fans i know are, mostly, old school 'bloods' who stuck with their team after they headed north their hardcore fans are as passionate about footy as we are
  2. i am an unabashed milkshake fan after being an avowed hater when we recruited him that semi-final wheel and goal may be my third favourite goal that i've seen in person after the kozi miracle against carlton (which melksham delivered to him) and the goal to beat the bears a few weeks back great interview andy
  3. whatwhat say what replied to Demonland's post in a topic in Melbourne Demons
sen really reaching for content these days
  4. it really sounds like meth coke did a number on themselves by winning against footscray they won't get reid and they won't get curtin at this rate
  5. future 2nd i'd be happy with georgiades for grundy + 3rd rounder
  6. i'm going to go slightly against this... whoever we pick with our first pick this year i expect to be part of our starting side we've not had the opportunity to inject high-end talent since dog, koz, and rivers at the end of 2019 - all were regulars in 2020 and premiership players the year after be it duursma, mckercher, sanders, watson, or another, i'm expecting we'll be bringing in a 'ready-made' player at the pointy end of this year's draft who by natural talent will become a part of the side immediately
  7. sure is! kevin kropinyeri is the star guest at the event put on by nsw demons When: Sunday 27 August, 12–2:30pm Where: Urban Winery, Entertainment Quarter (on-site parking, 5 min walk to the SCG) $$: $60 Adult, Children 5-12 years $20. How: Bookings here
  8. don't forget, afl sells broadcast rights, broadcast provider (currently foxtel and ch7) pays for cameras and vision provision from external agency (nep) from my understanding, the broadcasters only pay for hd quality cameras, not even 4k let alone 8k afaik, it's never been mandated in the broadcast rights agreement the quality of cameras i believe there's a minimum camera requirement at each game at a fully accredited venue (22, from memory?) but that c7 usually have more cameras active at all times
  9. trade talk for end of 2023 started at the end of the 2021 season
  10. it totally does! this #faketweet has got all the crom a-flutter
  11. add sydney three keen this year vs one this year his value will be about the same i think - second round pick, and his new team pays him full weight of the contract
  12. his training standards are elite, from all reports if they bring in mathieson and robertson, i would expect both would be fitter than nearly every other midfielder on their list
  13. highest bidder gets him
  14. it wouldn't be surprise me at all if we have a different team's first round pick in 2024 we love to wheel and deal may the 💀🏇 ride continue on!
  15. would be curious to know how he found the year-long sabbatical as a result of the peptides scandal effected his mindset and future planning, given that his year-long ban was his first year at mfc subsequently to that hibberd came in the following year - how much difference did it make having someone who had had the same experience starting at a new club have? how did he see his transition to being a predominantly defensive forward at the mfc occurring? when he started at the mfc he was a defender / sweeper and a quasi wing before getting dropped and then switching to a forward line player; from memory the break-out game in that role was playing on johanissen from the bulldogs (in the game lever did his knee)
  16. this plus peptides will also match and trade parish, i suspect, if he elects to go to the puddy tatts - there's no way that they can sign mckay as a free agent (triggering the high end compo of pick 2 is guaranteed, it would seem) and let parish walk as a free agent
  17. No fear Oskar Baker is a better ball user
  18. So basically yr saying we need…cover for every position on the ground?!?? Given Harley is out thanks to meth coke beating footscray, I’m all for increasing our midfield depth - McKercher or Sanders seem to be the outstanding options there FWIW, a bloke on the train home played with Nick Watson last year Said if we don’t take him with our early pick we’ll regret it; called him a freak of a footballer
  19. OUT: laurie, schache, tomlinson IN: plugger mac, fritsch smith goes to defence, laurie to sub
  20. well, the stats ARE accessible at the touch of a button
  21. lever's game was excellent when smith went down back to replace tomlinson too his reading of the ball in flight is superb

Kevin is a friend of the NSW Demons and has a very close – some would say genetic – link to the Club. Being Kozzy’s dad would do that. “Kevin is one of Australia’s most established and popular Aboriginal comedians with a long list of Australian TV credits. A proud Aboriginal man from the Ngarrindjeri Nation of the lower River Murray, Lakes and Coorong region in South Australia, Kevin is a high-energy performer - sharp, likeable, silly and measured; mixing keen observational standup with joyfully ridiculous physical comedy. His engaging brand of comedy warmly invites both Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal audiences to share his journey, his culture, his life.” As well as Kevin you get: A wide selection of “grazing options” in keeping with the club’s status as the league leaders in charcuterie. Drinks at bar prices. Club memorabilia auction Raffle and club speakers to be confirmed.
