  1. following the vfl game, i would think... OUT: jordon, grundy IN: spargo, tomlinson smith forward and hibb remains the sub
  2. really surprised by the positivity about tomlinson can't see him getting back into the afl side based on that performance, particularly as more good afl teams are going 'smaller' rather than 'taller' dunstan, spargo, laurie, woey 2.0 the best of the afl-listed players edit: although, in saying that, hawks do appear to have multiple 'bigs' that it might be handy to have tommo help play on alongside may
  3. no one wanted him he has the turning circle of chris lamb i think he competes well on the air but he's one of those too good for vfl, not good enough for afl type
  4. it's literally the ch 7 broadcast tho? spargo a moral to play afl next week if he gets thru the rest of this game and training during the week unscathed too good for vfl level
  5. what i'm liking is how free he looks in his movement he and spargo early candidates to return next week imo
  6. laurie really involved in almost every good bit of play spargo not too far behind him in performance
  7. it's not working it is a real shame it should've been a point of difference for us instead it's become a hindrance to our style of play
  8. 6: brayshaw 5: viney 4: petracca 3: rivers 2: lever 1: may
  9. waiting to see how the vfl goes tomorrow, but am hopeful it's something akin to... IN: plugger mac, woey 2.0 OUT: jordon, grundy smith back to sub, hibbo into the 22
  10. i thought it was a fantastic game and i hated every minute of it baggers were the better side for the majority of the night
  11. peppies mate reckons he's an expert at picking small half back flankers that he thinks will become midfielders ...they never do
  12. just look at the bom - a 25% chance of 1mm one thing that i am hopeful for is that a 'dry' game helps the grawndy combo more than a soaking in corio or the alice did
  13. are they really saying 70k?
  14. awful loved it when he and stinga waxed and waned; like hunter and langdon now
  15. howe looks a natural forward; finally got what he wanted 😛
  16. bit hard when he's been subbed out
  17. fantastic play by the filth for that goal
  18. dr bt leading us astray re de goey? it's almost like he's an atrocious commentator
  19. great question i would say it would depend on where the club is at - for instance, how much oversight does the coach have over much of the football dept anyway, from strength-and-conditioning to recruitment and list management to reporting up into the board etc. one advantage of having someone with somewhat of a remove from the coach is that it allows them to have some sense of independence while also letting the coach get on with the job of, well, coaching
  20. i don't really 'hate' any players, but i'm not a fan of the personality and / or behaviour of: crom: tex bears: zorko baggers: jack martin filth: cox, de goey, howe peptides: stringer flagmantle: dogga puddy tatts: hawkins, cameron, dangerfield, tuohy gc17: can't think of one gw$: does $cully count still dorks: can't think of one north: can't think of one pear: horne-francis tiggas: lynch, jack aints: can't think of one, mebbe brad hill bloods: papley meth coke: darling footscray: weightman of that lot i would happily have de goey, dogga, cameron, horne-francis, lynch, papley, weightman on our list
  21. had a rough time at the peptides - it's funny how much control over that club is still held by folks who have lead them into obscurity
  22. whatwhat say what replied to Romey's post in a topic in Melbourne Demons
hoping @Hawk the Demon is on the money
  23. bluebaggers are in terrific form we're not too shabby ourselves pretty confident we can get this done
  24. There’s an emoji [censored] out there just for folks like you
  25. it's going to be a tough choice between lever, petracca, and brayshaw as to who our next skipper will be
