  1. that he's still displaying concussion symptoms some five months on is...not good
  2. fascinating i've been trying to get ai platform execution happening for the last seven years in my various roles and it's FINALLY happening in 2023
  3. going old school with how i used to do it back in my school notebooks... B: Bowey (17) - May (1) - Lever (8) HB: Brayshaw (10) - Petty (35) - Salem (3) C: Hunter (12) - Petracca (5) - Langdon (15) HF: Neal-Bullen (30) - McDonald (25) - Chandler (37) F: Fritsch (31) - Gawn (11) - Pickett (36) Foll: Grundy (6) - Oliver (13) - Viney (7) I/c: van Rooyen (2) - Harmes (4) - Spargo (9) - Sparrow (32) Sub: Jordon (23) Emerg: Melksham (18) - Rivers (24) - Brown (50) i am presuming that hibberd will not be 'ready to go' for season start, as seems to be tradition
  4. only players i'd accept in an exchange for kozi from the pear would be butters or rozzee
  5. cox used to cop it too; like gawn he just ignored it and got on with the game think yr underrating big sandy - he was a colossus and when he was 'on' he was unstoppable and lastly i'd rate gawn's leadership alongside voss, selwood, and maxwell
  6. interesting, but i have heard it reported that the majority of his family is actually based in sa rather than country wa, which was the opposite of what i thought his dad is actually in sydney? which is it? 40+ goals per year small forwards who apply incredible defensive pressure are rare commodities and i'm hopeful he's going nowhere - hard to see how crom or the power could 'afford' to bring him in without giving up something significant the other way, particularly given that they've just brought rankine and francis in respectively this off-season i'm hopeful, rather than expectant, that he'll be a long-term demon
  7. good was shocking scenes
  8. sam walsh missing for at least the first month of 2023 after having to undergo back surgery can't see bluebaggers getting top 2
  9. Joel’s last gift to the MFC
  10. unless it's a horse (of course)
  11. i'd be surprised if mcdonald isn't in their best 23
  12. i just assumed it was tgr
  13. last session before festive break, i presume - i know burgess always used to do a 'surprise' to the training session to give the players one last challenge; anything like that done by the current fitness regime? this report is full froth mode in terms of how eager i am for footy season 2023 to begin
  14. it's not a draw; it's a fixture
  15. i prusume clayton's 'do is inspired by haaland?
  16. or reduce it to 16 on field
  17. this personally i think he's such a unique talent that he IS up to it - he is so young and shows such a versatility of skills still hate that he walked out
  18. sydney swans fans are mental and they regularly pack out the scg
  19. mckay, larkey, zuhaar, goldstein, ldu is a decent experienced five, and i really rate simpkin they have little quality depth
  20. i think the gap week robbed us of momentum heading into finals and then we were clearly walking wounded in the semi it was a shocking end to the season, but we achieved the main goal of being top four - indeed, top two - at the end of the home and away everything that could go wrong in the two finals did go wrong
  21. ideally, yes altho as seen the week off btw home & away and finals changes things and home ground advantage means little
  22. top four at the end of the home and away for mine anything can happen in finals
  23. there is no way anb will not be in our best 22 add jj to the 'best 23' as it is now and i reckon you've got it more or less spot on expecting jvr to challenge sideshow bob for starting key forward role
