  2. without any knowledge and only information gleaned from these pages, for the sydney game i want to see us go small and quick B: McVee - May - Tomlinson HB: Rivers - Lever - Salem C: Langdon - Sparrow - Windsor HF: Neal-Bullen - Petracca - Billings F: Fritsch - van Rooyen - Chandler Foll: Gawn - Brayshaw - Viney I/c: Spargo - Bowey - Schache - Woewodin Sub: Laurie Emerg: Howes - Hore - Turner unavailable: hunter - oliver - melksham - mcdonald - smith - petty - pickett - brown
  3. agreed i honestly thought his best role for us was as a lock-down defender, but his occasional brainfarts where he'd run off his man / get caught offensive side made him a liability
  4. when we are up and going we are a joy to watch when we are kicking 7.17 in a final? yeah, pretty frustrating
  5. it's a replacement of telstra tv, i assume - it'll be the same as the sky stream box, a puck device, that aggregates most (but probably not all) the streaming service options i use a telstra tv and it has foxtel, kayo, netflix, binge, paramount, apple, nba, nfl, etc. etc. as standalone apps that you download and use accordingly
  6. that was made by a third party organisation, not the mfc media dept
  7. look higher than gibson's level as to who is to blame for the strategic direction of content delivery
  8. nah, go small in the forward line at the scg schache the sub
  9. Facebook forum they said it was on ch 7
  10. Petty and McAdam ruled out of the Sydney game, apparently?
  11. Effectively exists for American sports already - you can get nba, nfl, and mlb as standalone
  12. pertinent to some of the discussion herein: https://theathletic.com/5255840/2024/02/06/espn-fox-warner-sports-streaming-service/ what will it mean for us in far flung oztraya? probably nothing with the various streamers tied to networks and our anti-siphoning... ...yet...
  13. yeah cos their name is either 'the peptides' or 'essendope'
  14. no issues with bringing it in - it's inevitable but at least they didn't knee-jerk and do it this year
  15. this whole 'goodwin is inflexible' narrative is clearly incorrect since the premiership year he has: had to try multiple different forward structures with our injuries / loss of players including playing the game's premium ruckman and inspirational skipper max gawn as a deep forward adjusted our midfield mix due to injury to one of the best midfielders ever seen in red and blue rotated brayshaw from wing to half back to midfield rotated pickett from being our best and most defensive small forward into an occasional midfielder rotated rivers our best running half-back flanker into an occasional midfielder rotated petracca our best inside / out midfielder forward to try and get our 'connection' working dropped a two-time all-australian ruckman because his role wasn't working in our side in the year in which he was recruited simmon stubborn? myth!
  16. gw$ and crom either matched or said that they would match for cameron and dangerfield, both who wanted to go to the cats, and forced trades
  17. You’d need to offer double that to get him to leave
  18. If you were the MFC you’d miss
  19. Kornes and Edmund rate Edmund? SEN even more self referential than I thought possible
  20. Some consultant got paid a fortune to come up with that
  21. don't be absurd; there was no cheating
  22. the millions the afl pours into gc17 / gw$ is still less than the increase in broadcast rights that they have brought in
  23. nah, i'd rather win games than have a moral victory
  24. crowds make a negligible difference to the bottom line tho a 19th team brings no value into the competition they will need to add a 20th quicksmart
  25. 2025 are more interesting... https://www.footywire.com/afl/footy/out_of_contract_players?year=2025 brayden maynard, come on down?
