  1. on the list - sparrow, chandler, tholstrup, pup brown coming onto the list - noah yze, who looks to have a strong running game as one of his core strengths
  2. sounds like the sort of thing he would do his fall from skipper to the slums was super sad
  3. maintain it's a complete bargain for the crom essentially anb for mcadam i know who i'd rather have; i know who plays afl regularly and who is mired in the magoos
  4. my best guess... blue for northern academy red for sa yellow for wa i thought it might be bold for vic country but that doesn't seem to be the case...
  5. gosh he's tiny does anyone know if he's actually eligible to be selected by us, or is it another ah-mu myth?
  6. you just KNOW that polynesia will be included in 2026 and beyond
  7. pfft, you don't want to talk to the hoi polloi when there's corporates to engage!
  8. i think it's a moot point regardless, as it seems we're not in the conversation for him all the talk seems to be that the cats are his most likely destination as they are prepared to take on his full wage and see him as a first rotation midfielder going forward
  9. i don't see how he can play the nibbler role at all if we had shipped one of petracca or oliver, sure, but another not-quick first-possession midfielder is not what we need
  10. jack steven was a former aints skipper who had a slew of off-field issues, including being stabbed in the chest shortly after the trade to the puddy tatts was completed he didn't even complete a full season down in sleepy hollow and retired at the end of his first season with a year to go on his contract
  11. he's our second most experienced player and should, if he keeps his form up and has a bit of luck with his body, go past 250 games great story indeed
  12. speed interview was a very good listen but i doubt very much he would have spoken about the tigs quite like that - stating that the review was a “last resort to reset the club” was overly dramatic it'll be interesting to see how public the club make any findings from it - clearly speed is of the belief that it should be kept entirely under wraps and not publicised but you know the medja is going to be baying for blood over it
  13. well i don't think any review will exactly help push caulfield along so...pretty much irrelevant?
  14. And meth coke would still say no; Reid is a special talent
  15. Sounds like something the MFC would have been long aware of - I suspect the news about his ineligibility is to calm the fawning masses (e.g. us) from getting over excited about a player we were never eligible to select
  16. Jack Stevens
  17. swans mate tells me callum mills did his hammy at training today
  18. i would presume the club has been aware for some time that he wasn't eligible to be selected i imagine it's the eagerness of mfc fans about him as a prospect that has seen the news filter out to the public that he's not eligible to be picked up thru the nga for us it's a shame, but it doesn't change anything at the end of the day
  19. Unbelievable … NO ACCESS FOR DEES NGA TALENT MELBOURNE will not have access to tall forward prospect Tairon Ah-Mu under Next Generation Academy rules when the 17-year-old hits his draft season next year. Ah-Mu is a member of the Demons' NGA program but under the AFL's eligibility criteria, he does not qualify for the club to have any priority access over him as a draftee. Ah-Mu kicked three goals for the Dandenong Stingrays on Saturday against the Gippsland Power, taking the straight-kicking key forward's tally to 21.5 from 10 games this season. Ah-Mu, who has Samoan descent, is 198cm and also has featured for the under-17s futures team as well as playing under Essendon champion Matthew Lloyd at Haileybury College in Melbourne.
  20. where have they said this?
  21. nope, only one oval pretty much useless when yr managing four teams' training requirements
  22. if he has a season like he had in 2024 in 2025 then could definitely see him going on again the following season yr a long time retired, after all...
