LMFAO

I love this kid.
-
Oh god.
-
Excellent.

I've loved his effort from the start. I did start to question whether he'd ever string 3 quarters together again though, let alone 3 games. When Clark burst onto the scene he was an instant hit, (how I wish we had both of them running around) Dawesy has had to win a few over the hard way. But I doubt there's any Dees fans that don't love him now. In a way he's picked up where Clark left off, that big, commanding presence up front that makes the players around him stand taller. His game on the weekend was the best he's ever played, he played some excellent games for Collingwood, but that was a premiership team at their peak, playing for us is a different story, and he dominated in a hostile arena. His chasing and tackling/bumping have been consistent, and his grabs and goals have been pivotal in our wins. He along with Viney have made us a much more physically challenging side, and I [censored] love that.

Here's a scary thought, imagine Viney did decide to run through Lynch. Lynch and Georgiou should consider themselves very, very lucky.
-
So that just happened. FML Cannot [censored] believe it.
-
He might need a helmet when he comes back.
-
Tom Lynch is human. Jack Viney is an animal. Viney doesn't leave survivors.

I guess our game was

Dunn told Watts the same thing as he took the kick that resulted in the Jamar mark. Watching the replay, the whole reaction to that mark was pretty funny. Dawsey celebrated with a fist pump, Jacobs' facial reaction in slow-mo, and for the lip readers Sanderson's "what the f[censored]" in the coaches box.

What if you lay a perfect bump, that goes nowhere near the head, yet you shatter someone's rib cage and puncture their lungs or worse? Nothing would happen I suppose. Why wasn't Dawes sent there for a forearm that broke Jaensch's ribs? Yet an accidental bump on the head is off to the firing squad.
-
Did he choose to bump though? Looks more to me like he braced himself for impact right before 2 much bigger blokes were about to collide with him at speed. Lynch should've done same thing, especially when it's Jack Viney heading your way. No doubt Viney will cop a holiday, probably 3 weeks. But it should not be his fault that Lynch is dumb.

I'll post my thoughts then read the thread. Viney. Over the last few years I've grown to hate player comparisons, and this one will be as ridiculous as most of them, but geez Jack Viney reminds me of Ablett Jr sometimes. His strength and evasiveness and bursts from congestion are so Ablett-like, similar body shape. If Ablett had Viney's hard as [censored] aggression he'd be nearly as good, lolz. Tyson, if he could only kick like Pendlebury... Love this trade though. Salem is a [censored] gem. JKH. Thought he might be about due for a rest. Nah I'll just go to Adelaide where we haven't won since they erected their first church and run the show. Such a classy, mature performance. Hope everyone is happy that the players got around him after that goal, crisis over. Dawesy! The beast. Filling Clark's spiritual leader shoes. What a friggin presence. The bumps and pressure were as crucial as the goals. He, Cross, Jones are football heads that can actually lead and help develop the young talent we may have. Skills can be hit and miss, but effort and desire are up to the player, and there are no better examples to follow than these fellows. I'm slowly starting to believe in a future. Cross made a couple of costly turn overs, but christ is hard. Some of his attack on the ball was frightening. Love him. Thought Howe and Watts bounced back well after embarrassing us all last week. Howe especially, some crucial saving marks and efforts on and off the ball. Starting to think Roos might know more about footy than I do. Jamar. I believe Roos may have told him that he has a foot, in fact 2 feet, and he can use one of these feet to strike the ball, thrusting it many metres in a desired direction. Jamar applied this practice quite a few times. This was refreshing. In all seriousness though, Jamar has returned very well and we've looked way better in the ruck since. And finally my boy Jetta. I know he will probably never reach lofty heights, but he's a competitor and works hard, deserves some success at least, and he gave Eduardo a bath and won't be out of the team any time soon. Excellent game. Go you [censored] Demons!

Just a 3 player collision that looked like a bump, absolutely nothing in it. So probably 3 weeks.
-
[censored] lacks a circuit board. Nothing to build on. Seen more than enough.

How many years and how many threads til this bloke goes elsewhere to chase a bit of success, then when he gets there he and they realise the standards of true success at AFL level are beyond him? Hopefully it's sooner rather than later. I'm sick of him being our problem. Sick of reading about him and most definitely sick of talking about him. Not up to it.

Match Preview and Team Selection - Round 5

I think Spencer might be a bit sore, not Dawesy. Hopefully no change. Although I'd like to see Jetta in. -
Good kid. Hope it finally clicks for him.

Jack Trengove out for year with navicular fracture
Deestroy All replied to Arrow's topic in Melbourne Demons
Good to see Trenners has recovered quickly from this injury and has been named as an emergency on League Teams. Medical science has come a long way. -
Watch yo' head, Granny.

While I agree Grundy is and will be the goods, why aren't you defending your potential "greatest player of all time"? I came in here specifically looking for that, how disappointing.
