For me moving Gus back to the wing or even get Salem in the mid/wing who can hit a target would help.

The day you care what a filth supporter thinks is a sad day. They are so far below us you should already know their ability to make any sound that’s coherent is very very limited.

Add Harmes and Sparrow who both spend time there and haven’t done well but Spargo is normally there for kicks into 50 and pressure more than goals I reckon. Nibbler fumbled so much today it was laughable, Harmes not much better and sparrow wasn’t far off it either.

So when we supposedly did the training laid last year what rounds were they? And did we drop off that badly?

M Brown is so bad.

We went in too tall which means we kick long and play into their hands. Selection was terrible this week. We have not handled pressure this year well and the last 3 weeks we have gone to water. Too many players want the easy handball instead of doing the team things. We are so spooked we have zero flow to our game.

Too tall, M Brown should never be playing, Kozzie was passed by Oliver in a chase down… Sparrow still isn’t in good form, Trac is slowly getting better. We need to a lift off those lesser players Fritta and M Brown getting marks inside 50 would help too.

Sure and when he did it last time I gave him the benefit, like I had when he showed up unfit and spent most of that year injured and unfit. He has been in an AFL system for 11 years, he knows he shouldn’t be drinking, sure others might have told him too but he is a bloody adult, he knows better.

For me out M Brown, Petty (inj), Sparrow ( medi sub), Hunt Ins Rivs, Pig, Bedford Brayshaw back to a wing, JJ to half forward and pinch hitting in the mid, Fritta from the goal square BBB STARTING 30 out and playing more up the ground. Gawn and Dogga play a higher mix up forward.

And not changing took us from a prelim to the bottom. Winning the flag last year doesn’t mean that formula works forever more. We need to change and adapt. right now we are beating most teams without playing great football. But it’s now not working and needs to change. We are too tall up forward, our kicking inside 50 is as bad as it gets, there is no room for our forwards to lead and when the ball comes in Fritta or Brown are well outnumbered. I don’t think it will work well. If we play similar next week Moore and Howe will have 10 marks each. At minimum I’d drop M Brown and bring in a smaller/medium forward who pressures and I’d put Brayshaw back to the wing. The connection is key, but it requires change. I don’t think what we did last year will work. We won so many clean exits from the contests that we no longer can as opponents set up to stifle that. And when teams go on massive runs of goals we do need to change things to give opponents a dif look, but we don’t. Try going small up forward for 10 mins etc.
