Great article. Have to admit though the only ones I'd find myself applying are the Tackle rate and Metres gained ones. The Tackle rate one could really show who the ultimate two-way players are. Giveaway rate is a good one but the description of it is how 'clean' a player's disposal is. I'd say its just how often they turn possession over.

I actually missed it due to going to watch South Melbourne play in the FFA Cup but I'm gonna try and get onto a podcast app today to hear it. I'm looking forward to hearing Nasher. As I haven't heard it yet I can't really assess fairly what Puntkick means by validity of input. Is it a case of not experiencing those earlier times or can you not believe he has that much MFC knowledge? I'll have to check it out, I'm sure it was a good episode and Nasher had some good things to say.
